  I can give enough props to this bank and their employees, namely Daina Short and her assistant Megan. They recently helped me get the financing to purchase my dream home. With all the emotional highs and lows happening when building a home, Daina and Megan remained steady, calm and informative. I didn’t see a light at the end of this tunnel, but Daina didn’t give upon me. She was a miracle worker. Thank you to Daina, Megan and Gulf Coast Bank. You have my business for life!

  Daina and her team did a fantastic job throughout the entire construction to permanent finance process of explaining all phases and components to us. Daina or a member of her team made themselves available for questions and ensured all of our questions were answered, as well as guided us to the best possible decisions for us in the our build process. We always felt prepared, knowledgeable and confident during our entire process. Given all the nuances Covid and the supply chain issues created over the last two years, her team was very helpful to my husband and I to work through these challenges with the timing of loan, etc. I would highly recommend GCB and Daina Short’s team to anyone who is in the market to buy and or build a home! We cannot thank Daina, Megan, Randy and Sheryl enough. They made us feel like family!

  Gulf Coast Bank is the best, they explained everything along the way. We are new to the area, the Bank was recommended, they didn't let us down. We are building a home, they processed our construction loan. If we question something with the loan they explained it to use. We are in the beginning of the construction now, we don't expect any problems along the way. I walk in the bank in Hammond and the young ladies all say good morning, what's amazing is they say "good morning Mr. Andre". Keep in mind I have only been here 6 months and only been in the bank 4 or 5 times. I highly recommend using Gulf Coast Bank for all your banking needs. I also had a new home built. I used GCB for my construction loan and mortgage. Daina and Megan was always there to help with all the questions and concerns. Very sooth process from construction loan to mortgage loan.

  We had the pleasure of closing on a house with Diana just a few days ago. The experience could not have been better. This is the second time that we have purchased a house with the first time being through Quickenloans. The experience we had with Diana and Megan was worlds apart from Quickenloans. We had one point of contact, the communication was quick and clear, and there were no surprises (e.g., random deposits) along the way. If any issues pop-up, Diana and her team can quickly resolve them. I can't state enough how great of an experience that we had. I highly recommend!

  Everyone was great and very helpful, especially since this was my first time buying a home. However, I found out that my loan is being transferred to a third-party mortgage handler before I’ve even made my first payment on the home. I’ve heard that this is pretty common but didn’t expect it to happen before even making a payment. I thought I was building a relationship with Gulf Coast Bank but I guess I was just being naive.

  I had such a great experience with Daina and GCF when I bought my first house (back in 2011), that I had to work with her again when my family and I decided to build a new one. She and her team were patient and helpful throughout the entire process, and they gave us a sense that they truly wanted to take care of us.
