  I had a very good experience with Guild. We worked with Mark and I would recommend him and Guild to anyone looking to buy a home. They were always prompt when returning phone calls and messages. Very knowledgeable and understanding. It made our home buying experience alot less stressful.

  To Whom it May Concern: As a Realtor, having an honest, reputable and goal oriented lender is paramount. Without the money there can be NO deal for anyone. Mark Travis of Guild Mortgage is such a lending agent. I have a friend in Florida who was tired of renting and wished to purchase a home. She has very little resources at her disposal which didn’t help her situation. She was directed to a well known lender in the area and after four weeks she had not heard any word on her being pre-qualified for a loan. Needless to say, when she contacted them she was told NO. She was directed to another loan company and the same scenario except it was only two weeks for her to hear those same words NO. I contacted Mr. Travis on her behalf, explained the situation and he, without hesitation, said no problem I will contact her. True to his word he did and within a few days she was approved for a loan. My friend has only good things to say about Mr. Travis. Personally, I have contacted him on weekends, and sometimes after “normal” hours and have always been able to speak with him. Mr. Travis has gone out of his way on several occasions to try and get the deal done. If you are looking for a conscientious, outgoing lending agent I would suggest you contact Mr. Travis.   The process was fast and painless. Mark and his group were always quick to answer our phone calls, texts, and emails. That helped the process tremendously to be kept in the loop knowing how the loan was progressing!

  Absolutely horrible experience. Unprepared is an understatement. Missed closing date twice. Not notifying anyone until morning of after driving 2 hours to get there. Excuse after excuse and blaming everyone else for there incompetence. My opinion, stay far far away.

  We are sorry you had a horrible experience. We do not communicate with the sellers. That is up to your realtor. All parties were informed of the issues and complications involved. Repairs were not completed in a timely manner, therefore causing further delays. Again, sorry for your bad experience. Hopefully your next sale will be a better experience.

  I would never recommend this loan officer. She lied about us being qualified and came back a week before the closing of our house and told us. The service was horrible and we are looking for a new officer now. Never will we use guild again.

  Mark travis went above and beyond to put me in the house I wanted to be in stayed on top of everything and made it happen in a timely manner would definitely reccomend him if your looking at buying a home
