First Heritage Credit Reviews

heather cox5I had a great experience with this company. I used them for another loan on a couch I had bought. Paid it off in the time allotted and never had a problem. Every time I called to get a balance they were kind and made sure they answered all my questions.

Lori1The company’s mission statement of “friendly service not being just a slogan, but a way of life” is FAR from the truth. I called with questions regarding a loan and their procedures. I was hung up on by Cindy Sharp while asking for clarification on documentation I needed. The first employee I spoke to was very condescending and basically told me I did not know what I was talking about. Not to mention their extreme interest rates. Stay away!!!!!

aundrae george1I have honestly had positive dealings with this company, until I just called a few minutes ago and asked simply to speak to the Manager and the response from a guy named Jamie was, Him: " I can help you". Me: Uhmm, I would like to speak to the Manager please. Him: "Well what's your name"? Me: HANGS UP! When a customer asks you to speak to a Manager, you should either get them if they're available and if they're not, then let that be known. Really rubbed me the wrong way.

lisa laven1I have to agree with majority of the reviews here. I have my loan that will be paid off in a few days and I refuse to EVER go back here either. My friend is the same way. She went to pay off her loan and it was close to $2000, but when she made the money order out she was $2.00 short and they refuse to pay it off for $2.00! That is sad. Then Jack consistently will call you and harass you if you are a day late. I have been late, but I work full-time, and I go to school full-time. Sometimes I forget, but it ALWAYS gets in there. If they cannot reach you by phone, they will call friends and family, and if that fails they will call your job, and they have done that to me. I had to call screaming at them about that cause it is disrespect when you are working or in class. I made sure they removed any other numbers I had on the account off so they could leave other people alone. The manager was rude. When my mom passed away I fell behind on a lot of things, but they didn't care, and she was so disrespectful. I was out of work, but she did not understand and it was always make a payment, and when can you make your next payment. I made a over the phone payment for $4.00 because Jack told me that was all I needed to get caught up, but the letter they sent me told me the payment was a different amount, and he said that happens, but this is your monthly payment. $4.00 is said, and they will report that to your credit. They only care about their money and nothing else. Paying them off will be the best thing EVER, and I will never do business here mainly because of the staff, and the rudeness you get, but their money hungry, selfish butts! The only person I think is sweet within that off is a lady by the name of Sarah. She is sweet, respectful, and will go beyond her way to try and help you, but when she has to take it to managers, nope they don't. Jack harasses you, Betina (I do not think she is the manager there anymore)don't care about your situations. I recommend staying away from here and do business elsewhere.

S S1I would have given them a zero if I could have. Trust me, DO NOT take a loan out from this company. They charge you a federal APR interest rate of 30.84% and a state APR interest rate of 23.77% and all the interest is from the day you take the loan out so paying the loan off early won’t benefit you at all because they charge you all the interest up front. If I had been told this I would NEVER have taken a loan out with them. They are extremely rude to deal with and try to add on all kinds of fees like insurance and other things that are unnecessary and I caught those and had those removed but nowhere on the contract did I see that the interest was charged up front. Be smart and take your business elsewhere!!

Tammy Whittaker1I have dealt with many creditors over the years but none as unprofessional and rude as this office. After paying over and above my monthly payments, all on time, so that I get Same As Cash, they won’t honor it in the end saying my last payment wasn’t made. My husband had accidentally cancelled our scheduled autopay from our bank for that month. I called as soon as I realized and was told to just pay a certain amount and that would keep my SAC status active. Now they won’t honor what was told to me. Extremely dissatisfied to say the least. I wouldn’t even give 1 Star but I had to to leave a comment.

Dylan Collins1Took a loan out for a couch. 1 year same as cash. They rejected a payment and called me a few times to take out an additional loan, but never mentioned my payment being sent back which caused me to void my same as cash contract. It does not sit well with me because I could have easily fixed the issue had I known about it. It felt as if it were a scam. I would recommend financing with someone else

Amanda Dumas1A LETTER TO THE COMPANY I have had a loan with your company for a while and am finally very dissatisfied. I wrecked my car that was on my loan. I was told that I would be able to either add my new car in it's place or be able to put other items for collateral and then the " Release of Lean " would be signed. That IS NOT the case. Now you say I have to pay $750 before it will be released. Oh, and it won't lessen my payment time or amount. So now, I will not be able to pay my car off with insurance because you have to release the car first. This will also make it impossible to pay your company as well. Thank you for having uninformed staff members, managers who take 2 weeks to give you correct information and for being complete ass holes. I especially loved how the manager just decided to stop speaking and give me the silent treatment in the middle of me trying to ask questions and explain my situation. You guys are the best at NOT helping people. -- ----- I was told by the employees that this would be easily taken care of. NOT the case obviously. I cannot believe the rudeness of the manager Debra. I will now be making a $785 monthly payment for a car so that I can work. ($360 to the wrecked one and $415 to the replacement) And then also try to pay them $105?? I don't think so. The $750 they want won't lessen my loan payments or even drop the amount of the loan. It's just money they want to stick up their asses. BE WARNED AND DO NOT GO HERE

lucas franklin1They'll give you a loan then harass the s**t out of you for payments. If you don't want them calling your references I suggest you make your payments at least 5 days early...who calls you a couple days before your payment is due to remind you that you payment is due in 2 days...?!? Also the manager is super RUDE!!!

Dylan Collins1SCAM BUSINESS!! My review is further down. Watch out for this company. I’m so upset with them that I had to leave another bad review. I will make it my life’s mission that no one I know does business with them. They offer financing at Knoxville Wholesale Furniture . Watch out they will scam you.
