Josiah at Guild Mortgage made buying our home easy and stress free. He had previously helped us with a refinance, and it went so well that we had him help us with a home purchase. He explained every step of the whole process to us, made things easy to understand, and was easy to get in touch with for any questions we had. An all around great, professional guy. I would highly recommend!

It’s been such a pleasure to work with Josiah and his team over the last few years. This was our third loan with Josiah and probably not the last! They are awesome. Their communication and just all around friendliness made the home buying process and our refinance stress free. They are a joy to work with. I always recommend Josiah to my friends and coworkers when they are looking to get pre-approved so I thought I should finally leave an official recommendation. Josiah, you’re the best!!

Think twice before using this office for your loan. I'm a real estimate investor that found a property for sale in Washington state since I live in California my real estate agent in Washington referred me to this office. I have come with a lot of down payment and asked for a small amount of loan. The deal was suppose to close on the 16th and then they postpone it to the 30th needles to say that they couldn't close it even on the 30th. The loan officers requested forms and forms and more forms every day I would dread opening my email of fear of what other documents I have to provide them. I understand that banks are hesitant and careful of choosing who to loan money to and hence why they are taking extra precaution when doing so but I showed them everything that they needed and provided my tax return, pay stubs, rental income, I paid off all my credit cars and my car loan hence i had no difficulty in paying the loan amount every month. Since my money came from another country they required more statements, sale of property where the money was generated from. Two weeks before closing they decided that I need to hire a translator company to translate the sale of the property which was in a foreign language. They had the sale of contract for over three weeks and it was their responsibility to translate it. They even decided to postpone the appraisal without notifying the real estate agents (both parties) they wouldn't give a reason. At that point I decided that this office is not a good fit to work with. The loan officers were not available to talk to my real estate agent all day today giving excuses to why they can't communicate with her. When I told my agent that I'm polling the plug and I need an answer by the end of the day Chris Lambert sent me an email ten minutes before the day ended that the loan is being denied...when three weeks ago they have sent me a pre approval for the loan. This transaction shouldn't been handled the way it was, with non responsive and responsible loan officers. My deal was an the edge of falling as a result of a negligent behavior of the Chris Lambert and Drew Ridewood. I urge you to think twice before working with this office.

We came to Ron and his staff at Guild Mortgage with a very difficult task. Him and his team were direct, efficient, and very knowledgeable. He told us exactly what we needed and how long that was going to take, which was a big breath of fresh air in purchasing our first home. He worked around our shortcomings and found a way to push forward with our home. We are very, very happy we came here and I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for no nonsense, dedicated, and reliable help.

I personally have never cried more in my life. My experience was terrible with Guild mortgage and Skip Thompson. There were multiple errors on his part, miscalculations that I pointed out and he argued with, an admin who sent an email to the wrong person and his failure to follow up with it. At one point we were talking at the phone and he actually screamed at me to let him finish because I had interrupted him. I work in a job where I am constantly yelled at and I have never raised my voice in a professional setting at a customer. We ended up closing almost 8 weeks after our offer was accepted, after getting two emergency extensions last minute because Skip was missing his own deadlines. At one point in our transaction he had someone else’s account pulled up and was telling me her loans and balances and I was like what? And he said “oh, wrong Amanda, sorry I have about 80 tabs open”. That is so unprofessional. Also upon working with Skip the promise of a moving truck was mentioned and then taken away the minute our offer was accepted, and even after all that they couldn’t give us a credit for our trouble for a truck. I recommend working with a company that can meet deadlines that they themselves are setting. Skip was not the only problem at this company; the admin and the underwriter were also making mistakes.

My wife and I decided on the dime that we wanted to buy a home. We are both in our early 20s just getting started in Adult hood. Amanda Keith was the lead for our experience, she was phenomenal she listened she offered guidance , put us first. We didn't buy our dream home right away but we are blessed with a beautiful first home. We never met Brandy but she has definitely made herself present, she sends us letters often just to check in. I appreciate the experience please keep doing what you all do! And I definitely recommend this crew.

Guild was great! Ron was very responsive to my calls/emails/questions, and kept things running very smoothly so that we were able to close AHEAD of schedule, with a great rate and excellent closing costs! He and his team are very nice, professional, and importantly for me, I never felt like I was getting the "hard sell", just honest, dedicated service!
