  I will not be utilizing Guild Mortgage again. My experience with the loan officer was not pleasant to say the least. I will not say the persons name, as I do not want to cause issues with this persons business. Started off great. The person was very friendly and interested in exploring my options. I have great credit, but recently went to self employed and was struggling to find loan officers willing to look at my options. This person got me pre-approved, but wanted to charge me about $7500 for closing costs, because he thought I was captive. I shopped him after I learned I would be paying my own closing costs. I found a young lender that’s was eager, and actually came out to be cheaper than Guild right off the bat. I asked each lender to send me their best numbers (totally confusing when looking at cost comparisons btw), and the younger lender had a better rate and was cheaper by about $300. With a suggestion of my realtor, we decided to stick with Guild as they have a reputation of being able to get the job done. I got the loan and purchased my house. I will not plan to refer business to this person, as I believe that honest prices and customer service is key to maintaining a business. Price gouging is not the way to take care of your clients. That being said, I could not give them a single star, as they accomplished what they set out to do, but I could not give them a higher rating as I was not happy with the whole process.

  I'm military and have moved quite a bit which has given me a chance to work with many different mortgage companies over the years and hands down, this was the best experience I've had! I worked with Chantry and his team which infused technology to bring relevant and insight information to help guide me through the process. I was impressed by the smooth transaction and contintual personal connection they provided throughout the entire process and wouldn't hesititate to put them as the best mortgage company I've ever worked with!

  I really enjoyed working with Guild Mortgage. This was my second time buying a house which helps because of having a better understanding of the process. Every Tuesday I talked to someone about my loan process. Which is nice touch because so many times communication is over email or DOCSign. In addition, someone always got back to me same day if I had a question or concern. I enjoyed the video description of my loan amount and interest rate. They did a good job explaining how to get those lower interest rates that are typically advertised. I can tell they have a great hardworking team because I had calls on the weekend and late evenings. We also ran into some snags with the seller and Guild Mortgage really advacated for us.

  Loved working with guild they made the application process very smooth. Every other place we tried to apply through felt like getting we were being interrogated. Everyone on their team is very helpful and kind. Got a great interest rate. Will definitely work with them again

  Best Mortgage Company around!! Chantry, Cristy, and the rest of the staff made everything so easy and painless, by far the best experience I have ever had and I would recommend them to anyone. You definitely cant go wrong working with Guild!

  We worked with Scott Stout on our refinance. This was the easiest, most pleasant loan process we have ever been through. Guild is very transparent through the entire process and the communication was flawless. We will never use anyone else!

  Extremely friendly staff, quite helpful too. The lady we spoke with was willing to stay late for us to get us pre-approved and worked hard to get us the best deal on a loan. Even though we didn't end up financing through them, I'd still recommend. Only reason this isn't getting the full 5 stars is because as soon as I mentioned I was shopping around for the best valued loan, she went into panic/defense mode which was a huge turn-off.
