Guild Mortgage Company Reviews

BD L5Guild Mortgage was the ONLY lender that would accept my business income during the height of the pandemic. Other lenders thought my sort of business would fail due to the pandemic, (2020 and 2021 turned out to be our best years yet,) but Guild and their amazing loan rep, Sara (and their underwriter,) took a leap of faith in me and my business... which is doing great and ended up thriving during the pandemic. I had one of the most difficult loans Guild has probably ever done. Not only my sort of business, but documentation issues, etc., but Sara and Guild never gave up on me. I HIGHLY recommend Guild and in particular Sara, the hardest working loan rep in the business! And BONUS POINTS for Guild Mortgage for not getting involved in political opinions. I refuse to deal with businesses that take political sides. Businesses should stay out of politics.

Tanasha Alderson1I dealt with Tom Flanigan and he was very sketchy. Not trustworthy. Would not recommend him to work with. Shady practices.

Raquel Rice1Tom and his staff have a lot to learn about customer service. From not answering calls to hanging up when I call him. It's really a bad sign when your lender is not very communicative. I'm not sure if the reason why they don't want my business is based on the color of skin. My husband and I had used Guild Mortgage before in Everett and had an amazing experience. I would not recommend Tom or anyone in his office. I'm guessing the one in the Valley is just as bad since it's own by his brother.

Robert Norman1Absolutely AWFUL!!!! We were selling our house and our buyers used these guys. They set out a 45 days to close after the offer, TWO DAYS before closing Mark Glatzmaier of Guild calls our agent and said that they forgot to verify the employment of our buyers which would push the closing date out 6 more days. Then, two days before the new closing date they email and say that they didn’t get the CD sent off in time and it would push closing out two more days. I’m not even using them and I abhor how they conduct their business. Terrible and laughable at best.

Sarah S5Tom worked very well with us and for us. We were more than pleased with the service provided by both Tom and our realtor Ben Kruse. The two worked as a team to help us in the home buying process. Highly recommend them both.
