  We had an absolutely horrible experience buying a home in Maine until we ran across Craig and the team. They were able to find an appraisal in a single weekend when the previous company couldn't find one in over 3 weeks. The whole team from beginning to end made our lives so much better. Thanks RMS especially Craig for helping us get into a new home. You are all a blessing. I can't say thank you enough.

  Hands down the best there is. Tirelessly addressed my concerns and questions throughout the process. Extremely knowledgeable about VA home loans and found a way to make everything possible for the successful purchase of our house.   Chuck Pine and his team at RMS literally made our dream come true! I am a first time homebuyer and had just been told no by a bank and when my real estate agent called Chuck and his team at RMS they said we were good to go....and they were right. We were able to buy our dream home and we are so happy. The process was so streamlined and non-stressful with RMS and they kept things moving so it was also very exciting.   My husband and I recently closed on our house with help from Dawna and Valerie and we are so happy with how things went! The whole process was very smooth from start to finish and so much less stressful than we ever thought buying a house could be! Dawna and Valerie were just great. Kind, helpful, hardworking, and always very quick to answer questions and help with any concerns we had. Everything was straight forward and easy to understand, and we loved the online tools to keep us up to date on each step! Great experience! :)

  Very disappointed with our experience with RMS. We are relocating 10 hours away and we wanted to be pre-approved before we went out to look at homes. We provided all documents requested and waited. We did this 4 days before arriving in Maine. We did not hear any response back from Jon. We left Maine and headed back home, and I waited a week before reaching back out to see how everything was going. His response was “I’m sorry for not reaching out sooner” and he proceeded to tell us we would be approved for less than expected and he “recommends” renting until fall. First of all, I should not have had to reach back out to get a response an entire week later. Second, we wasted a trip to Maine to look at homes where we could have worked with someone else and gotten a quicker response. And third, I never asked for an opinion of what he thought we should do, and no professional should be providing an unasked for opinion. We are first time home buyers and we were looking for a lender that would work with us because we had no idea what we were doing. I was spoken to like I was child when I said I didn’t understand why we weren’t approved. Fortunately we were able to find a lender that was willing to work with us and let us know what we needed to do and we were approved and found a home. This proved to us that there was something we could have done and Jon was just not willing to work with us. I do not recommend for first time home buyers.

  Jon and his team were so easy to deal with for my mortgage. Everyone is very pleasant and professional. Jon had excellent advice as I am from out of state and did not know the area well. I certainly highly recommend Jon and his team for your mortgage process. You can't go wrong.

  Jon Hutchins was fantastic to work with. He is very knowledgeable and open to talk to us whenever we had any questions. He was willing to meet with us after work so we didn't have to miss time to make our home ownership dream come true. He made the experience of buying a home incredibly painless.

  RMS was highly recommended by my real estate; we took the recommendation and regret it. Not only were pre-closure communications and service highly disorganized but also our mortgage was flipped to “Mr Cooper” (formerly Nationwide) and our initial 2 months of mortgage payments have been cashed but not credited to our account.
