Kristopher Saunders5These guys are awesome. What a great attitude and policy.... Bigger banks wouldn't touch me with a sub 700 score. I own a waterfront home and simply don't have a substantial credit history. I left with a new credit card, small loan and a beautiful Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland at 6%. I will be refinancing my home in the spring with Infinity.
Response from the ownerWe're happy to have you as a member, Kristopher! Thank you for your kind words. We appreciate your letting us help you build credit, buy a new vehicle, and beyond! We're all about helping our members make their dreams real. Look forward to working with you on your lovely home too in 2022. Cheers!

Casey5Got approved the same day with not so good credit and went in on a joint loan with my girlfriend so we can get reliable transportation and build our credit. Not the best rates but considering our credit scores its fair. hoping to refinance through them and hopefully be our long time lenders for when we want another car or even a home.

Evan Brinkman5I was stranded at a car rental place after dropping off my truck. I called Lindsey at infinity and after going back and forth (and me acting like a giant baby) Lindsey went well above and beyond in assisting me. First of all I was irrate and she calmed me down pretty quickly, secondly she found a creative solution to me being stranded and then processed that within an hr. Infinity credit union for the win! Thanks again Lindsey definitely deserves a raise.

Don Hanson5I first met Jennifer Olivera from Infinity Federal Credit Union when she joined my BNI group. I was instantly impressed by her commitment to helping good people, who had experienced some bad times, get their financial house in order. Jennifer does that with knowledge, kindness, and compassion. Like all credit unions, Infinity is focused on serving their members no generating profits for Wall Street; just what I like best in a bank. I have both business and personal accounts at Infinity Federal Credit Union and recommend them and Jennifer to anyone in need of a loan or just a great bank. - Don Hanson, Green Acres Kennel Shop, Bangor, ME
Response from the ownerThank you, Don!

K R1Beware of this credit union and their mortgage commitment process. They put me through the wringer a week out from closing in what has been probably the most invasive, convoluted, and unclear refi process I’ve ever been through—and I’ve been through many. Their refinance/mortgage commitments and “official” conditions for approvals do not appear to be legitimate and they do not stand by those (their own written) requirements. Since this debacle has (thankfully, silver lining) come to a close, their CEO has informed me that even though I had gone through the entire underwriting process and made it a week out from closing—to the point that the bank themselves called my insurance agent and REMOVED MY CURRENT LENDER to insert their own bank’s name into my insurance documents as my “Mortgagee”—and, even though I have documents stating I was “conditionally approved” with conditions I’ve satisfied, these documents, commitments, and my reliance on them are utterly meaningless. These official truth in lending docs and emails that state “conditional approval” and “approved by underwriting” mean exactly nothing, even though I spent the last two months satisfying (at their request) all of the conditions based on their specific tedious requirements, including migrating both business and personal accounts and direct deposits to their bank and jumping through every single hoop they asked me to. Infinity Credit Union’s CEO and CFO have absolutely ZERO integrity. STAY AWAY if you value planning, communication, and accurate information. Above all, stay away if you expect your credit union to honor their commitments, and even more than that, if you care at all about your stress level and sanity. Complete misrepresentation of their commitment to lend.

Edward Barrett1Two freaking weeks later and my credit card still does not work at Lowes!!!! What the actual Fu**?!?! What the heck are you people doing? Been pretty unhappy with Infinity lately. First I get denied on a loan for a new truck. When the Motorcycle and Car I was trading had a payment that was well over what my Truck payment is now. I was never late always paid early on both. Seriously ridiculous, I had 0 problem getting approved with the dealership. And today I go to Lowes to buy a bunch of stuff and the “New credit card” they sent out doesn’t freaking work at Lowes yet. Said they were trying to fix the issue. Had to run all the way home and get cash. Not sure what’s up with them the last year or so but, I’m not impressed. Side note though, all the people who work on the Bangor branch are great never had any issues with them, It’s the underwriters and whoever run Infinity that suck.
Response from the ownerHi Edward, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback and we’re so sorry you’re feeling frustrated. Every loan request is unique and we make every attempt we can to do what’s best for our members. We’re glad to hear that our Bangor team has been helpful and if you’d like to discuss your loan application further, we would be happy to chat. We are aware of our Visa Credit Card issue with Lowe’s and are actively working with Lowe’s and Visa to rectify this situation. This error is on the merchant side and Lowe’s will be doing a system update this weekend to fix it. In the meantime, we have an alternate solution to help you complete your Visa credit card purchase and would be happy to assist you with it. Please reach out to us at (207) 854-6000 x4130 or [email protected] if you would like further assistance.

Allen McLamb5My fiancé and I are refinancing both of our car loans and a personal loan we had, all with lower interest rates. Also got set up with a credit card with a great rate. You could not ask for better customer service. Even over the phone they did everything they could to get everything situated, and FAST. Expect to see a lot of referrals coming in from me, because I've been telling everyone!
