My husband and I have been using Grow for several years now and have been to the 580 location in the Clearwater/Dunedin area several times. Every staff member we have interacted with has been so kind, cheerful, and helpful. Jennifer helped us at the 580 location today and was such a joy to work with. The team is efficient and has excellent communication as I watched them work together to take care of all the customers. The bank itself is clean and welcoming, and I love the colors that Grow locations use to make the buildings more homey and cheerful. Thank you Grow for being such a wonderful, welcoming bank that not only takes care of our needs, but explains processes to us and truly goes the extra mile to make our experiences great. I’ve been to the Wesley chapel location as well and they have always been helpful, but the 580 location has been especially nice to work with.

I have been banking with Grow Financial for years and have always had a great experience. I will say that contacting any branch by phone is frustrating to say the least and I do wish that they would update their phone system, however, I have always been promptly tended to when in the branch. I recently refinanced my mortgage with Grow and everyone that I worked with there was extremely knowledgeable, professional, helpful and friendly. The entire process was very smooth and I was kept in the loop every step of the way.

I can't say enough good things about the branch on 580 in Clearwater...I have a couple business accounts and the staff there has been very helpful with the challenges I go through on the money end with owning small businesses....So much that I opened accounts for my kids here as well...Thank you for all you do and go through dealing with pain in the a** customers like me...😂

I had two very large checks in my business account. I made a large purchase and needed some of the funds to be released for payroll. They refused to release either of the checks. It had been 5 business days and the checks already cleared the other two banks. The manager didn’t even care enough to come out of the office to help. IF YOU NEED A BUSINESS ACCOUNT WITH A LOT OF ACTIVITY AND LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY, DO NOT USE GROW!

I recently bought at Truck from Tameron Buick GMC the financing was down indirectly through Grow Financial. I had the Truck shipped to me in Jackson Ms. the dealer was great. I had never heard of Grow Financial before. I have to say it was all handled so good. Bree Simon handled my funding and new membership to the credit union. She was so nice. She even got me a great rate on a card balance I had. I thought it was a very good rate. I also thought she went well out of her way to help. I needed to get a tag and had a couple minor funding issues. Being in the car business I contacted her and a very nice young lady at the Dealership Elena Casallo got me funded that day with the help of DocuSign thank you so much. Bree Simon is a very valuable asset to your company. Good customer service is very hard to find these days.

Worst branch - 9 year customer. Have been here 3 times in the past two weeks trying to open a new account. I currently have multiple accounts with them, yet this new branch staff is never responsive. Waited 45 minutes the first time and left. Waited 30 the next time, and today I waited 20 minutes. I am currently at a competing credit union opening an account less than 15 minutes after leaving Grow Dunedin, including drive time. I always made time to visit them during "normal" banking hours. 11 AM, 1 PM, 2 PM. You might assume they're short-staffed. You'd be wrong. I have watched the employees stand in groups of three talking to each other, watched teams of 2 in the back hallway, was told that they need "2 behind the counter" by a 3rd as an explanation why no one was available to help. Yes, 3-2=0.

I have been with Grow for several years now. I have a personal account (Checking & Savings) and a small business account. I have never used Grow for any type of loans, and I don't currently have any credit cards with Grow. As a bank, Grow was a significant upgrade to me - coming from a Horse & Buggy Bank. Primarily, I've used the branch located on SR-580, but at times have also used the Largo location. Both branches have been extremely pleasant to work with, in particular the 580 branch. People have always been kind and helpful, and my wait times brief and seldom. I do most of my banking electronically. If I had written this review a year ago, I would have mentioned how outdated their online banking was. Fortunately, Grow has since updated their online banking and it is much better. Their smartphone app needs a bit more polish, but is otherwise very functional. Their web-based banking is very good now. The phone-based customer service routes through a 1-800 number, and is often suffering from some system problem. When it is working, the phone menus sometimes run you in circles and can be a test of your patience; but when you do reach a person that person is extremely polite and very helpful. Grow's interest rates for savings and the like is lack luster, but in fairness they are equal to every other major "branch-based" competitor. For any real interest-based growth advantage you'll probably have to look toward Internet-only banks. I know this review seems a bit critical, but all in all I would highly recommend Grow Financial as a banking partner for personal and small business accounts. Their in-person customer service is exceptional. Their web-based electronic banking is now more modern, highly functional, and intuitive. I cannot recall ever having any accounting-related problems or errors with Grow. Being able to use any Publix Supermarket ATM for FREE (the few times I do use it) certainly quells any concern about there being fewer Grow branch ATMs. Combine all this with the fact that I'm no longer reliant on the BIG mainstream banks - and their potentially unsavory business practices, and I'd have to say I'm quite happy at Grow Financial.
