Carol Hahn1I cannot believe the incompetent services this bank offers. Because I took a bad check and deposited funds to cover it by way of a mutual fund check from the State of Nevada deferred comp no less they decided to hold my check for an extra ten days!!!!!!! All my bills are bouncing they have closed mail bill pay account and my utilities are ready to be shut off. They will not release the check. Eva use I had a negative balance!!! Now that really makes sense!!! I will be closing this account asap!!!!! If I could give them a ZERO I would!!! That’s what banking for 37 years with the Greater Nevada Credit Union Gets you gets !!!!! They want all their fees!!

Sergio Delgadillo1Terrible experience with GNCU. I had a backup checking account here loaded with funds and rarely used it. I went on vacation and came back to a $110 negative balance, sent to collections with my credit being effected. I was told by GNCU I'm charged fees for NOT using my account. And everyday I was overdrawn (because of their fees) I was charged $10 a day. Enough said. This credit union takes advantage of people and are well behind in new technology you can get from Bank of America or Wells Fargo without the ubsurd fees and ludicrous fine print. They stole my $ and they'll do the same to you.

Daniel Gonzales1Tried to make an account and uploaded all my things. It said it didn’t work. I took my things to the branch that they requested for online. They declined my offer to open an account because I didn’t provide them what they asked for online. 1. I uploaded it to your website and the website would say “file to large try again” I took 10 pictures and non of them worked.2 I took the documents to your branch and the teller said they would email them and upload them for me. This was a waste of money and the $11 I wasted trying to open an account. This should be a -1 star rating. FIX YOUR WEBSITE!

Cynthia Aguilar1Worst customer service. I had a loan consultant, Cathy Villanueva assigned to me. I called her office number and cell number, left messages and didn't hear back from her. After a month of waiting for some type of correspondence I finally emailed her requesting that she call me. A few hours later she deemed to respond and gave me the most basic answers about my inquiry via email. I will take any future business elsewhere and advise anyone considering this establishment to avoid it unless you would like to deal with frustrating silence.

Anthony Till (Tony)1I made a mobile deposit into my checking account. Called in Monday to see why the check was t deposited. They said it will deposit by the end of the business day. Then they for some reason put a 5 to day hold on the check. Which would be 4th of July. What? They don't want my money? Well they may lose a customer if they don't rectify this.

Barbara Buckley1The app and website are inoperable and unavailable on a weekly basis and not just on weekends. The call center is so overwhelmed that the calls are just dropped without anyone answering after a 5 minute wait. This is unacceptable in this day and age with so much competition for online banking business.

sean mcdonald1I have had nothing but bad experience with this branch. There are maybe 3 people who work there that have the knowledge to help you. My wife decided to open an account here to try it out and potentially switch all of our banking over to this local bank, but they can't seem to get even the simplest of things right. I have had better luck with the north Carson branch, but as a whole I have been displeased with every aspect of this credit union. Every experience has been like pulling teeth, and I now dread every time I have to walk into this building. I will be pulling out and changing banks shortly.

Incanto Incanto1Worst experience ever with GNCU, not only at this branch. Non of the employees were wearing an uniform, they did not even wear a name tag/badge with their names and position. But they had masks😊 Their was a girl with blue long skirt at the door keeping the people out of bank because of the pandemic and asking what we want to do there, something like a host in a bar. Well when we got in we didn’t know where exactly should we go, then they told us where we want, then we choose one old lady, which by the way was very nice. We requested new cards because there was a fraud made with our cards. We had to wait for the new cards more than a week!!! When we checked in Reno how long is going to take to receive the new cards, they told us that they could print our cards right away.!Then why no one at Carson told us, that there was faster option? When we check our balance online it isn’t showing pending balance and we are unable to see our online statements. OMG this place is a real mess! Everything they do is sooo slow.
