Denise Kinsey5I have never had an issue at this branch. Everyone has always been super helpful the few times that I've had to go inside, instead of doing my normal online banking :)

mark canale1Just left a review, but would like to add did anybody who had similar issues like mine get any monetary satisfaction or did they just put a spin on it?

Jonathan Hamilton1Sadly this is the first real issue I've had with this branch, usually not one to complain over minor issues but this was irritating. During this covid nonsense, was told not to enter if I have flu like symptoms, I do, so attempted to use their irritatingly slow phone teller to pay my vehicle loans... which then rerouted me to a person who wanted to charge extra to process my loans. So you don't want me to come in, your phone teller was unable to do it, so you reroute me and after nearly 20 mins on hold (I live 2 mins away) try to charge me more? No.
Response from the ownerHi, Jonathan. We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us. I will be escalating your review to the appropriate manager, and I would like to have them call you to discuss your experience in further detail. Please let us know the best number to reach you at and a manager will call as soon as possible. Thank you.

Soal Survivor1Very poor customer service. My brother was banking here. Just started an account. Then our brother on the east coast died. He didn't put money in the account and instead of letting him start fresh, or removing some of the debt, they told him they'd keep it open to accrue more debt for not having money in it and then close it when they felt like it. Now he owes thousands of dollars here for simply forgetting the account after his brother died. The woman was cold and more concerned with her makeup. Woman, you're still ugly inside there. It's not helping anyone!!!

none ofyourbusiness1Ridicules I went to look for the Dayton branch online and found the only phone number listed to be to a call center. OK no big deal transfer me please, nope the employee gives me so much flack about not having a gncu debit card that I asked to speak to a manager. Currently online for 20 minuets to see if a notary was in at the Dayton branch. The whole reason I do not have a debit card is this exact same thing that is going on here. When I got my wallet stolen all my other cards were shut off the second I called. Good gncu left it on for the thief to clear out all weekend. While the other card companies had my card to me by Wednesday the next week good old gncu here ran me through numerous verification hoops like notarizing stuff (with my id that was stolen). So I had to wait over a month to get my credentials back in order to be able to notarize statements and sign off on the fact I had in fact been robbed to access my own money. all in all after 30 muinets of waiting on the phone for the manager because the incompatent agent could not communicat the fact she could not transfer me to the branch right after she said she was going to yet wanted my life story which I refused to give to her. All in all i ended up on the phone waiting to talk to this champion roughly 10-15 min then spent about 5 min talking to this idiot, then idiots manager gets on the line and starts with it again wanting all my information for a simple transfer that according to her does not happen. They took my number and claimed to call me back. I have had some other really bad experiences with this place like the main office giving me a huge fee for overdrawing 1 time for the life of the account for $0.68 on my birthday during an emergency, then try to take my card from me and close my account then and there. For those of you who think this is a good establishment it is only good until you need something in a competent way, the only branch I have found to be a place I would trust with my money would be North Carson i don't know about Reno but I know enough to where i am closing my account and would recommend you do the same. I started at 3:10pm finished at 3:55pm just to ask 1 question. I know these banks are some cutthroats but damn at least have some semblance of not being totally incompetent or indifferent. i wrote the general manager 2 times when I was robbed 3 years ago, no response at all ever.So the incompetence goes all the way up to the top. So if the members are truly owners too, then I say fire them all. ACCOUNT CLOSED!!!
