  We needed to close in less than 30 days and I had several banks complain about the short timeframe and not even try. I found Great Southern Bank and was fortunate to talk with Bob Worthy. Not only did they have good rates, Bob said he would be happy to help, spent quite a bit of time with me getting everything ready and make sure I got everything submitted correctly. He maintained communication with me every step of the way and always responded to my texts and answered my questions. Bob redefines customer service! I highly recommend at least talking with Bob for your mortgage needs!

  My husband and I have done business with Great Southern Bank in Springfield for over 30 years. When we recently needed help with a home refinance, we were very fortunate to work with Bob Worthy, Residential Lender at Great Southern Bank Home Loan Center on E. Primrose. Bob stayed in touch by text or phone call almost daily, answering numerous questions with endless patience and always keeping us apprised of where we were in the loan process. At times it could have been overwhelming trying to navigate e-signatures & uploading information needed by the bank within a certain timeframe, but Bob was always willing to help, returning my calls or texts within minutes to walk me through the necessary steps. And when my patience with technology wasn’t at its best, Bob’s kind sense of humor helped brighten the day. The type of customer service provided to my family by Bob Worthy is rare these days, almost non-existent, which makes us all the more appreciative that we were able to work with Bob and Great Southern Bank for our home refinance.

  My fiancée and I bought our first home a couple of months ago right out of college, and with us being newer to the area and first-time home buyers, we didn’t know much. We got connected to Bob Worthy, who made the process so easy. He contacted us daily to keep us updated and let us know what was happening and if there was any additional information he needed. He advised us on what to do and what not to do when comes to making payments, dealing with mail scams, and so on. To this day, if there’s something that we have the smallest question about, we don’t hesitate to call him because he’s so willing to help out, even after the process is over. If you don’t want to deal with all the hassle that may come with getting a loan, give Bob a call. He handles it all so you won’t have to stress a bit.

  Bob Worthy was the best to work with Had different Circumstances than most people.All the other lenders said they could not help me but when I talked to Bob He was willing to help from the first 2 minutes on the phone and from then on was constant help from him. I recommend him to anyone.

  Contacted Crystal Colton early one day about information on a loan. She said she would get back to me that day or at the latest the very next day. I told her not to stress over the same day, knowing how busy one can get that the next day would be fine. Approximately 3:30 the following day I had not heard from her so decided to give her a call. No answer, I left a message. It’s been a week and still no phone call. Being a business owner I know how important customer service is, apparently Crystal does not. I’ll get my loan elsewhere.
