  Recently had my info stolen at another bank. Great Southern was recommended to me, so I walked in here to open a new account and they were super kind and straight to the point! Quick visit and they answered all the questions I had!

  Just got to say these tellers are so friendly and have helped so much. My card was locked and account locked. And Need to pay my bills. And there was a lady that gave me pizza and breadsticks because she was so sorry for my situation. Thank you that was honestly just great. And Meisha and jess.

  I had a mysterious $100 payment try to come out of my checking account and Great Southern fraud alert caught it and verified with me whether I had made this payment or not. When I responded "no" my debit card was deactivated naturally.so now I'm in the middle of a workday without much time and I need to have a new debit card made. I walk in and within five minutes I'm in Thomas is office and another five minutes after that I've got my new debit card. That was really quick! Thomas was a totally cool dudeand I wish I could remember the tellers name because she deserves to be mentioned for being so polite and getting me in there so fast. so thank you Thomas! Thank you teller! I wish I could remember your name but I really appreciate you! You made the negative experience of having an unauthorized $100 taken from my account into a really positive one for me. You made my day into a better day! I hope you both get raises! Cheers

  Worst place ever.. People inside all doors locked will not answer when I call, will not answer the drive up either. 0 stars if possible.

  Hi, Shiloh. I'm sorry we weren't able to assist with your in-person banking needs. All Great Southern offices were closed yesterday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. day. This location does have an investment group utilizing office space on one side of the building, and that may be who you saw inside, but the banking center was closed. All of our holiday hours for the year are listed on our website, and we post notices of holiday closures on the banking center doors, in online and mobile banking, and our social media pages.

  Two women at this branch are ignorant to the fact that people on the phone could, and have health issues that cause them NOT to be able to speak really loud. I called this branch twice last week. Both times the women on the phone screamed 😡 at me that they could not hear me, and when I tried to explain why I could not talk loud, ( having trouble breathing), they still were loud.

  The hours of operation isn’t correct and the drive through people have the worst customer service imaginable! Can’t believe I went with this bank when I moved to Springfield. Will be getting a new bank ASAP!

  Lobby no longer open on Saturdays. Very disappointed as I work 8-5 M-F, so it is hard for me to make a visit during the work week.

  Poor service, unknowledgeable staff, and tellers say they can't do something but when you contact the main branch they say the should of done it.
