  Calling Granite for any account information is so frustrating. You either hold for at least 10 minutes or get told that they’ll call you back in 10 and almost never get a call back. It’s crazy because you can go into the branch and there isn’t a single customer there , but for some reason nobody is available to help over the phone.

  Wonderful workers and great environment! I wouldn't go anywhere else for my loans and financial needs. You won't find better workers at any other financial institution. They are knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. I definitely would recommend Granite Credit Union and this branch.

  I have been a Granite customer for about 7 years now, and have always been happy with their friendly staff and personal touch. I don't use them for all of my banking needs, but for every service and account that I have used them for, the service has been dependable and communication pretty easy. I can only one error that took place in one of my accounts in the past and their customer service took care of it quickly.

  DO NOT BANK WITH GRANITE CREDIT UNION. I opened an account with them years ago because of their customer service. Since then I have moved away from their few branches in the Salt Lake Valley. It was not practical for me to run my everyday accounts through them. I have kept my account open with since moving as they were the first place i got a credit card from and wanted to keep the account to help with my credit, showing length of credit history. I use the card yearly so the account will stay active. Little did i know that if you do not use it they will not send you a notification that you will be charged a dormant fee or any other correspondence regarding the account inactivity. Without my knowledge they closed my account and canceled my card, defeating the whole purpose of having the account. When I contacted them they were not helpful and had very little information they could provide me. So much for customer service.

  Been a member for 40 years, have tried other places, banks. Then when I compare Granite always takes better care so now only place I keep my money. Thanks Granite

  Incompetent workers and system. Wanting to pay off a loan or make payments and they make you go through an inferno to do it.

  Jacobo, really sorry to hear we made things hard for you. Making payments and/or paying off a loan is generally a pretty straightforward thing, sorry that wasn't your experience. We appreciate the feedback and will work to get better.
