  don’t bank with these people. They NEVER answer the phone, they close super early. You can never get anything done here. Absolutely ridiculous

  Very friendly staff and helpful. I've been banking here since 2005 and my only complaint is that they are closed on weekends to post deposits. Otherwise I wouldn't change banks

  DON'T GO THERE! BEWARE OF GLITCHES IN THEIR SYSTEM. For the past week Golden Valley has been blocking my card. It was blocked over the three-day weekend for Memorial Day and I had to go to the bank Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, the three hottest days of the year, and wait outside in a line in 105 degree weather, to go and unblock my card Everyday they would unblock it, but then after I made a single purchase my card would be bucked again. Obviously there's a glitch, but they're just throwing your hands up in the air and saying they don't see that the card declined and that my card was not blocked. If it was not blocked then why would I only be able to use my card once safter going to the bank each day. Each time I went to the bank, i was able to ouse my card once before it wad blocked again. They're refusing to give me any numbers to any higher ups, and they're not even willing to escalate the problem. It would be different ifthe issues were with vendors that I've never used, but these are vendors that I've been using for years... vendors that have my card stored in their system. I use these vendors all the time repeatedly, but all of a sudden they're being blocked. And not even once did anyone apologize or even offer to say I'll find out why this is happening, or let me see what I can do, ot apologize. So beware I hope this doesn't happen to you. But I think I'm just going to close my account there and take my two direct deposits somewhere else.

  At least Golden valley credit union beats big banks such as with chase bank. A $20 fee ain't nothing compare to chase bank over draft fee of $34. Credit unions are a lot safer then big banks such as with chase bank The staff members are always friendly & kind they dont put up with no real B.S.

  Inconvenient hours and aren't open on weekends. No around the clock assistance which is unfortunate Customer service is decent once you get there though. Just not convenient enough for everyday banking

  We went to get a print out of a couple deposits. The 20.00 fee was crazy but then the bank manager Gail said that we couldn't pick them up till the following day. We didn't go right before closing either. I'll be switching banks now.

  Would put zero stars if possible. Joke of a bank. Won't let someone close an account bcuz of a high credit card bill. Someone doesn't have a job. So u r going to keep that checking account open and have that person keep getting charged every month. Joke!

  Worst bank ever I have 4000 in bank on the first which is on Sunday but the money was pending on Friday which meant that they have my money but won't let me take it out The problem now is how do get my pension and my social security transferred to another bank Im done

  The person at the door was very helpful with info on how I can make a check deposit in the COOP ATM. Got it done.

  Wonderful! I bought my home and car through this credit union ten years ago and have banked with them since . Great place to bank and very helpful!
