  This is a great place to do business. My first impression was how well the owner Bobby greets each and every person and clearly welcomes you in the store. He is very knowledgeable with tools, gear and the instruments as he is also a great musician. Bobby’s ability to maintain a great conversation while conducting business is not only good for business but comforting as he makes the time to communicate on or off the subject at hand which is quickly becoming a lost art of communication in todays society. The store is not filled with old bins of junk as there are quality guitars and amps for all levels of playing. There are vintage and modern instruments including pedals. I am personally in to tools and guitars and have purchased some Milwaukee tools at a great price. The store is organized, clean and filled with plenty of items to catch your eye. Come to this store, it will be worth your time.

  BOBBY IS THE MAN!!! I first met him when I walked in to his shop several years ago asking if he knew where I could get a 1oz silver bar he said he didn't have any at that time but he opened up his computer and spent a solid Half hour giving me the run down. where to look, what to pay, who has it for the best price. Since then I have gone there on a regular basis sometimes to Buy Sometimes to sell and most the time Just to hang out!!! He has helped me out tremendously and I would Definitely recommend this shop to anyone.

  Such a good place! Really cool stuff and a lot of guitars! Owner is super cool, fair prices, and willing to work with you. The only place I'll go now!

  Called around to check other pawn shops in my area. No answer, so I left a message on Yelp for this shop. I received a response some time later and went in the following day. The guy at the counter was very helpful, wasn't expecting to make as much as I did. Prices were very fair I was quite taken a back. Not once I felt pressured with the options I was given. First time selling at a pawn shop and was a smooth process. Definitely will be back if I need to sell or take out a loan. My new to to shop for future business needs.

  Nothing but good things to say about this establishment. Bobby went above and beyond helping me . Great selection of of decent and interesting guitars and amplifiers. They were friendly and the prices were fair. I got a good deal. I will definitely be doing buisness with them in the future.

  By far the most professional pawnshop I’ve been to. The owner is extremely friendly and honest. He will tell you if what you have has any value or not and the guitars he has are within generous to fair prices.

  Golden Pawn and Guitar is the place to go if you need quick cash for a minute or sell. Let's not forget the items for sell too. You'll see that everything for sale at Golden Pawn is picked with taste for resale. The collection of guitars are remarkable, I'd buy my guitar there if I played. He also has cash for gold. The owner is a very fair and nice guy. Remember this place next time you want to loan or Pawn.

  This is the best pawn shop in orange 🍊county. Not only does the owner give you the most money for your items compaired to any other shop I've ever visited but you can tell he really loves his job and cares for his customers. Everytime I've visited Bobby (the owner) was like the nicest guy I've ever met and he always greets you with a smile. If every shop had customer service this great the world would be a better place. I'm looking forward to working with him again. His gold prices are phenomenal and his guitar selection is outstanding!!!

  I gotta admit, after reading the reviews on this pawn shop, it sounded too good to be true! Pawn shops are notorious for being unscrupulous but Bobby (Owner), runs his operation with honest integrity! Highly personable, he knows what he's talking about! When it comes to musical instruments, amps, recording gear, and everything else that pertains to music, he's a wealth of knowledge!

  Golden State Pawn is the best pawnshop ever. Bobby is super nice and understanding and seems to always work in the favor of the customer. I hit a pickle as I’m transitioning from school to my career field and he’s been the best help along the way. Always has good music 🎵 stuff: pedals, guitars, amps etc in great condition and really strong customer service skills. Highly recommend his shop.
