  I asked the guy over the phone about a product I was trying to pawn or loan and was told some good news. I used my last to get there then a guy there tells me he can only do $5 or &7 on new item that cost me $50. They pick and choose who they want to do good business with instead of treating everyone the same.

  I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience in our shop. Unfortunately, the product you bring in dictates what we can offer for it based on what we think we might be able to sell it for. For example, your $50 new item in question(which we don't know what it is) will likely sell from on online wholesaler for probably 20-30.00, you just happen to purchase it retail which is the most expensive way to purchase something nowadays. Now if that wholesaler sells it for that amount, we can't sell it for what they are so we will probably price it at 10-20.00 which is where will make an offer from. Add in the labor of my employees and resources and supplies used to make that purchase from you and the profits are very very slim. Not to mention, your item might sit on our shelves for a year before we sell it. So next time you're in a large retail store and look at that 50.00 item keep in mind that they probably paid 5.00 from the manufacturer to get it and made all the profits from you originally. We appreciate your business if you do so in the future with us but to keep my doors open, we have to make some kind of money. Thank you.

  I generally work out a pretty good deal with these guys. I tend to buy and trade occasionally. Some pawn stores act condescending towards their customers and act like they don't know what they are talking about. These guys seem pretty on the level when it comes to giving you a offer on something. I know electronics inside and out-after being in the business for 13 years of selling, buying, and repairing electronics these guys give you a decent price for yours and a decent price for their systems(Cameras, Laptops, Ipods and Ipads). I recommend them also to people who are looking for a used PC.

  They are rude,conartist! I was down on my luck and needed a little help so I carried a gift I received for my birthday which was a brand new $249.00 drill un-opened. They told me they where on sale for $60 at lowes (lowes doesn't even carry Milwaukee) thay would help me the best they could?..... they would give me $20!!!! Shame Shame golden goat you live up to half your name and not the golden part!! You treat your customers like a bunch of farm animals or drug addicts not sure which, however have a great day.. and dont got to the bronze donkey opps golden gopher. As for you bunch of farm animals behind d the counter go eat some grass -the gr!!! YOU'LL SMELLAND LOOK LIKE A BUNCH OF GOATS!!

  I like this pawn shop. I bought my fiances PS3 and game from here and the owner gave me a really great deal. I'm going back today to get another game.To the people complaining on here don't be mad because nobody wants to buy your crap, it's a pawn shop they have to make their money too.

  The guys at Golden Goat are great. They offered me a loan for more than what the other area pawn shops were willing to give me if I sold them my items. Now I get to pick up my stuff next paycheck. Thanks again!

  If you're looking to sell your jewelry, do your research first. These people are a rip off. I took my jewelry elsewhere and got what I was supposed to get, which was twice as much as they offered me.
