  On multiple occasions I go in on a payday. It's lubch time of course because that's when the rest of the world has time to do there banking and there is only 2 tellers. So on other paydays I go in when they open up and there are only two tellers. The manager said he is only allowed to staff two in the morning and the others will be there at 9:30. Well at 9:30 im still in line and no tellers. 9:45 one more shows up but one other one leaves. So I drive to the roseville Douglas branch now. It's faster to drive there do your business and come back than to wait there. They always have 4 tellers even when the line is long it's not more than a ten minute wait. In summary I avoid the birdcage branch at all costs and you should too. No stars.

  Came here for a car loan. They were rude, it took over a week with 3 visits despite showing up with all necessary info and a 750 credit score the first time. They kept mis-entering information causing things to get kicked back. I've financed 4 cars in my life, this being the 5th and this was worse than the first time when I didnt know better and let them bone me at the dealership. I dont recommend Golden 1 for your financial needs, especially the Citrus Heights branch as they're extremely rude. Others arent as rude but are just as clueless. There are much better companies to give your money to.

  The new drive through ATM is a nightmare. This place is more broken down every time I go there. I've been using safe credit union ATMs all over town with my G1 card. There's no fee and they actually work! Go figure..

  Been with Golden 1 for about 5-6 years now and I have no complaints. I had an appointment today with Abigail and she was AWESOME!

  The problem I consistently have at this branch is the wait time. There is always a long line to see a teller, and they only have 2 or 3 tellers available during "rush" hours such as lunch and just before closing. Another problem is the ridiculous notion they need to make you wait a long time before "big" check will be released for your use. This does not work in my schedule where those "big" checks are needed immediately for emergency use.

  Nine teller windows but never have more then two bank tellers ever. It really sucks im not much of a complainer but wells Fargo has more fees but always have more tellers i will go back to my 8 dollar fee bank time is money. Hate waiting 30 min min to get to teller at this point its every time

  Some employees don't understand anything and don't ask the customer what you want they are horrible

  Long line of people out the door and only 2 tellers. Customer service must be at the bottom of Golden1’s list because I told the teller and she just said she knows.

  I joined this non-bank, non-business bank (Credit Union) in the mid 1970's after bad experiences with Bank of America. Never looked back. Solid bank, friendly staff, member focused. Trustworthy. No problems.

  The people that work in the Sunrise branch are lovely people but they’re understaffed! Always a long line with few tellers open. It’s not fair for the customer or the staff that are trying their best to give us good service. Very frustrating.
