      When a fraudulent charge was made on my account and the paperwork was mishandled and lost, the Fraud Department made it seem as if the money was gone for good. Once the issue was brought to the attention of the right members of management, they immediately recognized my decade long membership with GCFCU and worked quickly to provide a solution. I appreciated them for going above and beyond to make things right.

      I thought I'd have a local credit union to bank with. Opening this account was the most difficult banking experience I've ever had. Non-existent correspondence from the rep handling online accounts. I received a debit card in the mail indicating that the account was opened, nothing else. I stopped by the branch to verify I actually had an account and deposit cash. Within two weeks of opening they had charged $8 in fees. The company website could have been better designed by middle-schoolers and the app is no better. Just left the branch this afternoon from closing the account. Save yourself the time.

      This is a shared branch for me. In the past, I've been able to make deposits without issue. The staff has been friendly, and the deposits have posted to my account quickly. Today, however, I was not allowed to deposit a US Treasury check because the listed names did not exactly match those on my account. Think first initial and last name vs. full name written out. I explained to the teller that I had no control over how the government wrote names on checks, but she refused to assist me any further. They made no effort to find an alternative solution and simply turned me away. I now have to drive an hour each way to deposit the check at my credit union's nearest branch. I understand the need to protect against fraud, but these were extenuating circumstances in my opinion. Gold Coast's customer service left a lot to be desired.

      Mariah is a excellent teller and has amazing customer service!! Every time I visit , I always feel so welcomed & appreciated. I even witnessed her dealing with an extremely difficult customer just the other day & she remained very poised and calm!! Keep up the great work!!

      Today I was withdrawing cash and I asked the teller for an envelope and she pointed to them and said “right there” with an attitude. Then I asked if she could put the money in an envelope for me and she says that “you can do it”. No respect for the customer and the service level I would rate as a zero, but that’s not an option to choose from. By the end of the month I’m closing my account.

      I have been banking with them since early-mid 2000, I love the staff there. They are awesome. I highly recommend these lovely people, Marie, Deb, Tina, Ed, etc...., even those that have moved on. Gold Coast is more platinum than gold in there customer service!       I am a shared branching member and was appalled by the way I was treated in the drive thru! I completed my whole transaction without one word said to me! No "Hello, how are you" No "Thank you" No "Have a good day" NOTHING.. So incredibly rude and unprofessional. I'm so glad I don't bank with them! I will never go there again!! NEVER. They should retrain their complete staff!!

      I have banked with Goldcoast in the Port St Lucie location since 2005. I find every one of their tellers and account officers to be polite and helpful at all times. I am happy to be a part of this credit union and to be on a first name basis with all of them. The account manager Ed has been very helpful to me in obtaining refinance of a car loan. Tina at the drive thru is always smiling pleasant and efficient I have not banked with any other institution since joining in 2005. Goldcoast Federal Credit Union is my one and only place to feel welcome as a customer and makes me proud to bank at a place that is apart of the community and serves the community and is not part of a big larger corporation. I hope to remain a valued customer for many years to come.
