  Debbie Thomas from GSF Mortgage Corporation is a total professional, but more importantly, she's becomes a good friend. She cares about her clients and has great pride in her work and getting the job done correctly, quickly and accurately. As a first time home owner I asked 1,000 questions and more than a few, more than once and she answered everyone single one of them, every time. I knew we were in great hands and the closing went smoothly just as Debbie had planned. She helped decrease the level of stress and anxiety of buying a house. Debbie made it a wonderful experience.   Mike Pilla at GSF was awesome! At first I really didn't think I could refinance at all based on what happened in the housing market a few years back and what other lenders told me when I inquired about refinancing. Mike convinced me to at least let him look into it for me and I'm sure glad he did! He was able to set me up with a 15 year mortgage with a WAY better rate resulting in SO much more going to principle each month that I can actually see light at the end of the tunnel now. I don't usually write reviews but this changed my whole outlook so Mike Pilla and GSF certainly deserve my time and recommendation! Thanks Guys!

  Thank you GSF for the opportunity to become a home owner. Debbie was excellent! Whenever I had a question or two she was always available no matter what time it was. She worked over and beyond on my file. When it seem like I was never going to be a home owner, Debbie kept reassuring me that "WE" were going to get there. She let me know everyday where the file was. I'm happy that the process is over but a little sad that I no longer can bother her (lol). Thank you a million times Debbie for making my dreams of owning a home come true.

  Since GSF Mortgage Jacksonville FL NMLS# 1018 wants to play games and delete my Facebook review, I'll post the absolutely HORRIBLE experience they provided. Debbie Thomas was the person handling the mortgage package for my buyers. When we accepted the offer from the buyers, it was established for a 90 day closing... which put the closing date for June 5th. On June 2nd we were notified that GSF was waiting on tax documents that were needed... even though everything was supposedly on schedule. Well, the documents were provided to Debbie on the 10th or 11th. Since then, she has dragged her feet on getting the package to underwriting, and it was even returned on a couple occasions for missing items. Needless to say, today (118 days since we accepted their offer) we found out the buyers were officially declined for the mortgage. The past two weeks we have been displaced from our empty house, and the week before that we slept on airmattresses since we moved all our stuff into storage on Father's Day weekend since we were being lead on about the closing. Additionally, school starts for our 6 year old on August 10th... and guess who isn't, and can't be registered until we are able to close on our new house. If ANYONE supposedly has financing with GSF Mortgage... STAY AWAY

  Ashley Whealton did an excellent job moving my mortgage through the obstacles presented from application to approval. She always returned calls timely and provided timely communication between the lender and I. She was pleasant and professional in her interaction. She provided any necessary technical support and office assistance with transmitting the information required by the lender. Obtaining a mortgage in today's environment can be challenging. Ashley did an excellent job assisting in the process from start to finish.
