      Unethical business practices implemented on customers I was never 30 days late on any of my accounts in my credit report. Sept. Of 2022 My vehicle was a total loss. I kept GM financial informed of the situation. Provided all documentation that was needed. Before my payment was due my insurance company cut a check directly to the lien holder which was GM Financial. over 50,000 dollars left a remainder of around 5000.00 luckily I had gap insurance. Well after going back and forth with gap and canceling service contracts and so. The Gap made the payment and account was paid in full. GM told my credit agency’s that I was 90days late cause I was not making payments. But account is paid in full. WTH I told GM you received over 50,000 dollars from my insurance company for payment. That should have me in good standing for about 4 years. GM said nope we didn’t receive payment from you directly so we can say that you violated the contract agreement we had. You still need to make payments even if you pay extra. We need payment from you direct. I was like WTH. Never I have had a issue like this arise with any creditor. They receive payment but they won’t acknowledge you paid extra therefore BEWARE from this company. Manipulating the verbiage of the contracts to get more from you. They rather ruin your credit. Also note they never even bother to call me till I started complaining about them never reaching out to let me know I was defaulting on my account. I’ll never do business with GM Financial bunch of crooks.

      They do NOT care one bit about you or your situations. I lost my job then recently trying to get back to work, only to have them not one bit try to assist me in any payment options. All the care about is scrdsing you over with thier border line malpractice policies.

      I have leased/purchased many vehicles from GM. I'm guessing 10 or more. I was billed, probably in error, after returning a fully prepaid lease early. I called to discuss and was assured a supervisor would review my file/they would send documentation regarding the charges (charged on one and refunded on a second identical lease). Two months later I called to check progress? They immediately reported me as delinquent. I've spent hours on the phone trying to reach anyone who can help. I get nothing but the runaround. Never buy or lease from them. They hate customer service. And never pre-pay. Like the guy before me in comments I'll be on the phone for hours into the future.

      Horrible service. I ended a lease, paid the final bill. Then noticed online a small charge of less than $20. I called and they said it was an error for a tax problem. Note I never received a bill for this $20. They said they would clear it. Now, they hit my credit report for being late over 30 days. No bill received, told they would fix, etc. Credit was almost perfect now lot 94 points for one late bill in my life that I never received. Time for another 2 hour phone tree and wait experience. I really liked the car but will never again own a GM car because of the continually bad service from GM Financial. From reviews online, I am not alone. Great cars, terrible Financial Services. Maybe get someone new to lead that division.

      I would give a ZERO if I could... I had my lease on auto-pay and it was somehow turned off. They reported to the credit bureaus without notifying me after two years of paying on time. My credit score was impacted significantly! I called and they said that they had to report it, it's against the law not to even though it was not my fault. I let that one slide. Turned my auto-pay back on. Fast forward to end of lease... I turned in my car and got a letter saying they received it, will do a comprehensive review, and mail me a bill. Again, my account is on auto-pay with paperless statements but OK, I'll wait for a bill to come in the mail. I then get a notification from Experian that GM financial reported a 30 day late payment on my account. Mind you, it was already closed and at a zero balance two months before. No calls, no email, no bill in the mail, no nothing. Instead, GM Financial opted to report a late payment AGAIN! My credit score went down again! This lender is too incompetent to send a bill or even contact me - with multiple channels as an option. I called and asked for them to send the bill via email and they said they can only mail it. It is now 2020 last time I checked and I am a paperless customer. RIDICULOUS! I still haven't received the bill but I know the balance is roughly $1,000 more than it should be. I am sure there are charges and fees that I should not have to pay in the first place. Needless to say, I will never lease with them again. I loved my car but, PLEASE seek other financing options if you get a GM vehicle for the reasons below: - Terrible customer Service - Unreliable Technology - Questionable business practices

      Company should responsible for all aspects of sell, My wife and my credit reported for late payment just because $20 short in our payment not in our bank account. We select auto pay on GM financial website and select the amount appear on the site, we trust it and didn't check with contract. It happen 2 month after we lease our car. I paid whole 32 month rest of my payment and filled up dispute with supporting documents that shows I had enough money in my account and it was their website error (balance amount) but GM financial specialist just saying we can't remove late payment. ( Not explain why, just saying we cant!) The company received $6000 early but still they are mad for $20 short!!

      2 months After closing statement and pay off everything and returning the car I saw $12.80 balance on my credit account with late fee. I called GM financial and they said it was their mistake they’ll report to remove that from my credit history but because of their mistake I’m about to become homeless who ever runs my credit they say you have a late payment and also I can’t get a loan again because of this MISTAKE. I will never do business with chevy and gm financial. My worst experience ever..

      If I could give negative stars I would pay to do so. I have owned several GM vehicles and not one time get a simple 10 day payoff. Wait on hold three days in a row two totally separate times and it says "our wait time is 15 minutes or more." Then after someone fumbles through the account they proceed to tell me the account is a lease and we need to transfer you to a new department and they are closed for a meeting and have no direct number. If you cannot provide a payoff or information as a multi-billion dollar company I am no longer giving you any business. Terrible customer service that sounds farmed out. F+ rating.

      Poor website with almost no useful information forcing you to call in and wait on hold forever. Website Dashboard has your account number and vehicle VIN number and not much other useful info. Can only see the payments made thru their website. Payments made by mail or phone do not appear. Little to no historical data on payments made, payments remaining, anticipated lease end date, nothing! What's the point in having a website that isn't functional?

      Right now, the payment history shows payments made through our MyAccount system, but your statements are available online. Also, we hope you'll give our messaging a try when you are logged in. It works best through the app because you can go about your day and just hop back in when you get a notification that there is a new message from an agent.       Unbelievably HORRIBLE SERVICE. I have been getting the runaround for 4 months trying to obtain a final disposition bill on a lease. They reported me as delinquent and my credit score dropped nearly 100 points. They keep telling me the bill was sent. I’m to the point where they may never get their money from me since they can’t seem to produce a bill yet. They send me all the junk mail in the world so they have the correct address. And Mis Brianna ID #32743 has a stank attitude!!!!!!!!
