  I don't know about the Glen Oaks Club being the "Augusta of the north" , but tranquil beauty is abound in the rolling hills and meandering fairways of this Old Westbury, Long IIsland NY jem.

  This is a fun club! Golf course is top notch! Club house is beautiful! Staff is mostly pretty good. I’m not a fan of some long term bar staff but hey I only come here as a guest 4-5 times a summer. This club is not afraid to spend its money on improving the members experience. Food is so-so, weddings are kind of weak. Been to 3 in 2 years but not my home club, not my problem.

  Many people aren’t aware that a major reason for religiously based golf clubs isn’t exclusively but rather that country clubs are communities that raise money for charities. I worked for the Glen Oaks Club for six years and saw the members of this club raise money for Hofstra University and so many other charities. The club requires its members to attend and contribute at least five times per year. The charity that stands out to me is that the members of the Glen Oaks Club were major donors in building the Schneider’s Children’s Hospital at North Shore. I accredit this club for having groomed me professionally when I was in my twenties. The members hold themselves to high standards. It was a privilege to know the members at this club and to have been influenced and professionally trained there.

  One of long island's best private country clubs (27 holes)....has it all for golf and dining experience. 2017 Home of the Northern Trust Pga event.

  They treat members okay but the way they treat their employees or guest is unfair. They have kids who shouldn’t be working there, working in harsh conditions.
