  My wife and I had an exceptional, “couldn’t ask for more” experience with Gina Myers and her team, of Intercoastal Mortgage Company, as first-time homebuyers this year. I highly recommend them, without reservation. During the ~five months we were shopping for homes before ultimately closing, we had opportunities to interact with probably every person on Gina’s team, some of them many times - by phone, text, email, video or in person, didn’t matter. I can say that they made us very comfortable working through what is inherently a ‘big deal’ to most couples, and that they were consistently fully-open and upfront, pleasant, helpful, available, professional and reliable. In the very unlikely event that the person we reached out to wasn’t immediately available (and they usually were, at any time of the day, any day we reached out to them for probably close to five months), someone else would happily step in and completely handle the matter or question. Lisa, Wes, Anne, Jennifer, and Lily all helped us out, and my sense is that they did more behind the scenes than I really understand. Gladys was terrific and answered many of our questions especially in the first few months of shopping, helping with our “what ifs” so we could understand the financial implications of our various options. Colin Meyers (no relation to Gina!) did a truly stellar job walking us through the hands-on parts of the loan process, and I’ll give special note to how adeptly and professionally he handled our concerns when we were in the most stressful parts of the process, even including our sudden jitters and most naive questions nearing the end. Gina Meyers is delightful and was exceedingly helpful in sitting down with us for an extended period of time to go through our many (many) questions, line-by-line, and educated us on parts of the process we just had no feel for and didn’t know how to ask. The whole team is extremely solid and I can’t even think of something they could have done better.

  Working with Gina Myers and her team was a blessing. I was introduced to them by my amazing realtor (Sam Eligwe), and he made a recommendation that Gina Myers was the right lady for me to work with. He was spot on. As a professional in the gray area of hospitality and heavy in sales, I know what to look for in a service/sales team. Gina welcomed me into her office within 72 hours of being connected with her (48 of which were the weekend), not expecting to get my business in return. As a first time home buyer, I was clueless and was really relying on the people I was working with to guide me through the process because I was juggling a million other things, much less the mechanics of buying a home too. Gina and her team made me feel secure; l knew I was safe with them. I knew Gina was looking out for me when she made it a point to find the best deal for ME in securing my loan, NOT putting more weight on her own needs as the service provider. I had spoken to other loan officers before her, and this is what "sold me". No one else told me about the loan SHE was able to get for me, and that's the one I went with. She also took the time to walk me through each and every line of the document, when the time came 3 times. Not only was this a high quality business transaction, it was also a true joy to work with Gina and her team. Trust, comfort and friendship are all qualities I saw with Gina. I 100% recommend working with her because you can be sure she is looking out for YOU. She also made me the CUTEST little bag filled with practical items and goodies I'd need for my home that she brought me when she showed for settlement. It was a pleasure and honor to work with Gina! And I will 100% be doing it again in the future for round two!! :)
