I personally went down to Gesa credit union office to pay a bill for my boyfriends loan. The front desk lady wouldn’t let me pay the bill unless I had the account number. I didn’t have the account number but I let her know that my boyfriend came last time and gave his SSN. I told her that I can give her his name and social security number but she still wouldn’t let me pay the bill. I called my boyfriend in front of her and she still wouldn’t let me pay the bill. I was so confused that I ended up calling another Gesa credit union in Walla Walla and asked them if she was just giving me a hard time or wouldn’t they be able to process the payment if I gave them my boyfriends name and Social Security number. He said yes that would be no problem at all and he is really confused and apologized for my treatment at one of the branches. Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name but she appeared about 40 years of age with curly blonde hair and Caucasian. My treatment was humiliating and frankly when I was waiting in line I could tell she was racist but I calmed my nerves and gave her the benefit of doubt but since confirming with other branches that this lady was giving me a hard time. I’m disappointed there is still racism and mistreatment because of the color of my skin. I am Hispanic. Born and raised American Citizen with a Caucasian boyfriend. This treatment- no one deserves. This was disgusting and Gesa Credit Union needs to be careful who they hire.

Drive through is easier than going inside and standing in line waiting to get seen sometime you get in fast and don't have to wait in line. The ATM machine sometimes takes your credit/debit card I've had it happen twice so I choose to go I side during business hours 9am-6pm and the people who work at gear are so sweet and polite and respectful. The outside of the building is clean and the parking lot is clean and could use a bigger parking lot. 🤔

The Gesa Credit Union Team is the best banking team I have ever worked with, personally and business. Both Titan Street and Popular Street branches are professional, knowlegable and so friendly. They have always gone beyond our expectation to serve us. I proudly recommend Gesa Credit Union to any business or person that is searching for a new credit union/bank. I thank all of the Gesa Team members for all the you do for Five Star Disaster Services. I had an experience unlike any other at the Gesa Bank location today. My mother goes inside to have a couple of documents notarized and was turned away, with the reason that they couldn't do it. No explanation, no actual answer. So, I go online to find the phone number for that location, dail it and get through to a call center in Richland, WA. I ask to be transferred, but couldn't be. He then said he could speak directly to that branch and was told that no one was there to do so until 1pm. After a short discussion he gives me the extension to the Walla Walla branch on Tietan Street of 7018 and we part ways. I'm wondering why she would not be told to come back after 1pm. We had time sensitive documents that needed attention. She gets to the counter at the bank after 1pm and is then told she has to be a member to be able to have documents notarized there? So, after getting a mask, I go inside and ask to have those documents notarized, stating also that I'm a member. The lady behind the counter who told my mom she had to be a member was tapped on the shoulder by the "Retail Sales/Service Manager", (you know who you are), left the desk and he steps in and looks over the paperwork one sheet at a time unusually sliw looks at me and says in a low tone..."We can do this for you." He then asks my mom to come in and sign everything in front of him, which may be standard procedure, but handled this entire scenario unprofessionally and suspect of bias. My mom has gone in there many times for the notorization of documents, before this without hassle. My concern is that all of the pertinent information should have been conveyed to my mom the first time. I have not had such a disturbing experience there since I opened an account at that location almost 10 years ago. I may now only visit the popular location from now on.

service was so slow. I was the only person waiting for a clerk and still was left to wait for at least 10 minutes. there was two clerks and neither had a customer at the window.

I will only use the popular st branch now. My bf of 10 years who uses my card regularly, used the atm and it the ate the card for no reason. When he went in they refused to give him back the card. I get that. But when I called they refused to use any info I provided to verify... even had the audacity to claim that my bf mustve done something wrong (no it gummed up and ate the card for no reason). When I talked to them, I was talking to people who had no care to my frustration of having to drive down there over their mistake. The other branch on poplar is very friendly. This is not the first time gesa has made mistakes with my account. I think I will start looking for another bank honestly....
