  Agree with Stacey, I think it's their policy to never answer the phone to make you wait for call back. Even the simplest of questions expect to go in and wait in line. Also, some branches are terrible! Had bad service on Highland because they wanted me to hold up the Teller line for clarification of policy instead of letting me wait for a service rep.

  I had the pleasure of having "Kristin, The Floater," as my representative throughout my car leasing process. She was beyond affable, gregarious, and fast-moving throughout the entirity of my process. Every question I came across, she was there with a friendly and quick-witted response in no time. I felt very comfortable and informed throughout it all. A big thank you and shout out to Kristin for her help; along with, her kind and friendly manner displayed beyond and throughout the process itself.   I started banking with Genisys Credit Union when I moved to Michigan in 2018. In the past 25 years I have had multiple businesses and I have banked with many different large banks, but none have been nearly as good as Genisys. I always feel like I am treated with respect and friendliness…. I never feel like I am a number. I have even moved my mortgage and family trust over to Genisys and they have made all of that very easy.

  Best place for car loan rates. I've been using Genisys for years and recently transferred another loan to them. The only caveat and reason for 4 stars is you have to do direct deposit to get the best rate. The website is not user friendly and not easy to figure out how to pay the loan from your bank account.

  Horrible bank, good luck EVER getting a call back! 2 weeks that's how long it took to get a call back! And that call back was only because I went online to file a complaint and ask for a regional manager to contact me! I filed a complaint with the federal reserve due to the unprofessional manner of this bank. I will be leaving this bank as quickly as possible and never recommend them. In my business I give a lot of referrals to banks I will be sure to warn people instead of recommend them. In fact before this review I have already steered 3 people to other banks!

  I’ve been with Genisys for about 12yrs. Their service is great whether it’s in-person or over the phone. The branch I go to is in Commerce and it’s always clean. Their team research and resolve issues timely. Every loan I’ve applied for has been approved. Lastly, Genisys is very visible in the community because they sponsor many events throughout the year.

  I have been a member of Genisys Credit Union for years. I have gotten all of my loans, advice, and credit knowledge from their awesome staff. This location in particular has been my best experience that Genisys has given me. When ever I come here in person, I always get great service with Emily and I have recommended dozens to her. Now that I have less time to do business in person I realize that it is impossible to get a hold of any Genisys Credit Union Branch Via phone. Aside from communication, one thing that is really starting to irritate me is how often the ATM is out of order or can't dispense money. I mean 4/5 times I come to this ATM after hours, It is having some type of malfunction that causes me to go up to Genisys up on M59. Sometimes, that one won't even work, although for more often times than not it does work. It's because of this type of inconvenience that I'm looking for another credit union to do business with.

  Got my first auto loan here, they were a bit more lenient towards my credit score since I was just starting to rebuild my credit. The banker that helped me was very helpful and tried her best to give me the best options for me to save money. However I was not impressed with their rates, especially on used vehicles, I was paying 13% interest rate on a used audi, which I think was pretty steep. One thing I think that they could also improved on is their online banking, it is very difficult to access my account which you actually need to call the bank first before you can do anything online. Overall I give this bank about 3.5 stars.

  Nicole has been very good with my wife and me and helping us with our banking needs. We moved near this location and have received good service and help with our needs. I feel good about calling Nicole and the rest of the staff and getting answers about our questions. The ATM is the drawback when it is not accepting money or checks after hours. I hope that it can be corrected soon. Andrew

  This Genysis is amazing. All of the staff has always been very helpful and friendly. Emily has been helping me build my credit over the last couple of years. She's helped me with a few personal loans and has taught me so much about credit and banking. I can't thank her enough! These are such important life skills that I have not been taught in school or by anyone in my life. She's always gone above and beyond every time she's helped me. :)
