  The lady with black hair, glasses and tattoos (which probably shouldn’t even be showing if she works at a credit union and deals with money… looks tacky and unprofessional) was being so unbelievably rude and unfriendly. I went inside the establishment to use the coin counting machine with my boyfriend. After he got his receipt, he turned around and starts walking to the desk and she was like “did you fill the bag or not?? Did it say call assistant or not??” to which he said no and showed her the ticket. When he was finally next, he asked her to see the half dollar bag so he could see if he had enough halves to fill it. They both walk over there and immediately she says “you need to back up… back up” in a very sassy and nasty tone. No other customers were in the store expect for one person in-front of us, talking to the said “lady” so my boyfriend kind of stood off to the side waiting for them to he done. She literally starting to criticize where he was standing in line even though there wasn't a single other soul that needed help or in line; so it shouldn’t of mattered if he wasn’t in line. He was literally the only other person there. I’ve never seen someone treat someone like that in customer service especially at a banking establishment, I held my self back from saying something to her because my boyfriend hates confrontation but she was being so rude to the point where I almost didn’t care and I was going to ask what her issue or problem was. I understand people have bad days, but that is no reason to treat someone like that.

  Genisys credit union has given me one of the best experiences, I have ever had with a banking institution. Nice people and real personalities that are honest about your personal financial situation.

  I just want to say THANK YOU to Samantha (Sam) for doing such an amazing job! I feel like she really cares about people and she went above and beyond my expectations from when I had made my first call. She was so personable, informative, and communicated everything with me throughout the whole loan process. I am so grateful for everything she did, and proud to now be a member of this credit union, that really does put you first!!

  Such friendly staff, quick service, SOOOOOO helpful with any issues you've had, such as someone using my card fraudulently! I'm 61 years old and this is the best bank/credit union I've ever had! Always happy faces when you go in there!! Love it!!

  I will love to say thanks to Tanya Hoffman in Rochester Hills MI. She is a Angel from God. I came in for a car load and I ask for just $9000. But Tanya Hoffman got me Approve for more. And she told me where to get my truck and I love it. Thanks so much Tanya Hoffman for all your hard work. She need a above and beyond awards.

  If anyone feels discouraged or lost when thinking about getting a loan, you need to talk to *SAMANTHA HAYWARD* She will help you every step of the way and find something to help you! She cares about people, and understands the struggles we all are going through due to the pandemic... and she will HELP YOU. I felt like I was out of options when my car became undriveable, but she has helped me get back into a now better vehicle, and helped me to regain some confidence back by getting rid of so much stress... I can’t thank her enough! She’s just amazing! ❤️

  Sam really went the extra mile helping me build my credit and getting me the car loan I was looking for at a payment lower than I was expecting. I will be doing all of my business through her moving forward. She did an excellent job!

  I recently moved, and this is the closest branch to my new home (my former branch was the 23 and Van Dyke branch, and before that the 22 and Gratiot branch). Everyone there has been awesome so far! I have never even had to wait in a line because everyone is so fast and efficient and they're always properly staffed. This week, I had so many questions about getting a car loan (first time), and I wanted to get pre-qualified through Genisys. Tanya Hoffman was a MAJOR help. She answered all my questions and helped me get the best rate possible. She made sure I took all the proper precautions with car dealerships and other loan programs so my credit didn't get dinged for hard pulls. She told me step by step what to do if I go to a dealer and choose to finance with Genisys. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and super nice. I'm so happy that my new branch is just as awesome as my previous two!

  It's been my credit union for almost 30 years. I've never looked back on my decision to fire the bank and to do all of my banking with Genisys. They have consistently exceeded my expectations and the 4.07% interest I'm currently earning on my checking account is outstanding.
