  Being members since the 80's we have had multiple loans through the credit union. Working with Shelly Herron recently has been the best experience we have ever had there. Her customer service is top notch! She went above and beyond for us, even coming in on her day off to ensure our loan was processed smoothly and quickly. We highly recommend her as she genuinely cares for her customers!

  Worst location, everyone is incompetent and take forever. Worst bank too, never approve loans and hold your money to take the interest so you can spend it and make them less money. Any other bank would be better. Worst credit union, they charge fees on things any other credit union doesn't.

  Everyone is friendly and courteous and easy to work with, both in person and over the phone. When there was activity on my card that wasn't a normal, they were on top of it and contacted me immediately. That particular time there was no fraud happening, however recently there was and they worked with me and did what they could to rectify the situation. So glad I chose GCU for my banking needs.

  The rudest drive through teller I've ever had. Wouldn't accept a check from my employer who also direct deposits my paycheck everyweek. Highly recommend using the white lake location.

  Gabe is always a great Teller. He is knowledgeable, fast and extremely friendly. I live 20+ minutes away and this will definitely be my branch of choice as long as they have staff like him.

  Went to the Highland Rd branch in Waterford to cash my check earlier this week, & I just wanted to say how pleasant my experience with the teller named Sophia was. She was quick, kind, and incredibly helpful!

  It shouldn’t take 40 min for a Branch Assistant Manager to find out how an interest charge is calculated. She kept entering the wrong data.Wendy also asked if I use google, not a very professional question. 3 stars for friendly cashiers and bankers.

  they have the best ads with Euro appearing in shape models making outrageous faces as they perform financial activities. You can really imagine the ecstasy of holding a debit card in your hand feeling the throbbing of its purchasing power in these ads

  I opened an account here earlier in the year, and a debit card I had not used very often completely quit working. I was unable to go into any Genisys (having moved), and was told three different dates of when a new card was going to arrive. In short, I did not have access in any way to my bank account for over a month. I was never able to get a human being on the phone calling customer service, and got responses simply repeating when my card was supposed to arrive through messaging, or that I would have to pay extra to receive one quicker than the 3-4 weeks it was taking. Additionally, I had applied for a mortgage loan, and never got a response whatsoever.
