Lona Morrison1By far the worst credit union ever!!!! They find ways to rip you off, never answer their phones, aren't very accommodating, and they offer nothing special to members. I realize they find ways to take advantage of their members. I could write a very lengthly report on their shady practices. Fortunately, i belong to another credit union that actually cares about keeping my business. I cannot believe someone referred me to this lousy credit union. I am not one to leave a negative review, but Genisys Credit Union is getting one from me today!! I plan on closing my account, then going home to celebrate the severance from such a horrible financial institution.

ANA ALLEN5Last week my husband and I went to Genisys Credit Union for the first time to see what interests rate they could offer us in several loans we had with another credit union. After talking to Presley, we realized the amount of $$ that we could save with Genisys due to the low interest rate. Presley treated us with strong professionalism and Latoya and Karen processed our application quickly and without any problem. I recommend Genisys to everyone, excellent customer service and best interest rates.

Crystal Bates1Sad that if u get a check from a friend that banks here and you don’t they charge you 20% basically. $5 charges on a 24$ check. During a pandemic around Christmas time! Pathetic!!!!!!! I wish I could give 0 stars to this company. NEVER getting my business!!! Even chase didn’t charge SMH!!!! Poor Credit Union

She walked my husband and I through the whole process, answering any questions we had. I am positive if you meet with Karen, you will be impressed by her too! Great work!

V Lot5We recently purchased a new car while we were in Florida. The dealer used a national bank (WF) to process the financing. My credit rating is over 800 yet the loan interest rate was 5.4%. Since I had to purchase the car that evening and had no time to contact Genisys, I agreed to the terms. A week later I called Genisys (Karen) where we have banked since mid 1990s and they offered me an auto loan at 1.9%. After a couple of email exchanges and providing the necessary documents, my loan was approved and we paid off the loan at the national bank. Genisys/Karen made the process extremely easy. And, of course we saved a ton of money. We love Genisys and the people at the Grand Blanc office. They are always friendly and responsive. The commercial banks should learn from them.

If it wasn’t for Karen, we literally wouldn’t be able to do Christmas this year! If you need help, see what they can do for you. L Robirge1I agree with Juli Parks. I have been with this credit union for over 30 years. As Grand Blanc CU, they were more than great. As Tripointe, they were pretty good. Not quite as personable but not to bad. As Genisys, I am so disappointed I am moving my funds to another credit union that my friends and family very happy with. The last couple of times I have contacted Genisys, they have been rude and disconnected from real people. Might as well talk to a machine. I would give -1 as a rating, but I had to pick at least 1 star to post my review.

Jerry Craney1I started an account with Tri-point CU about 15-20 years ago. They were awesome. As soon as Genisys bought them out everything went down hill quick. 1st they have close to half the tellers there on a given day. SO it went from no wait to a 20 min wait. When ever I need to use their ATM I have to hope and pray it is working. I'd say less than 50% of the time their ATM isn't working. Now I have to try and get a hold of them to unlock my online account again, because for some reason last time I told them to; in person I might add since their over the phone service is so phenomenal, sarcasm FYI; they did not unlock it. No surprise on my end. The exact reason why I went to Dort Federal CU and opened an account there. As soon as my last 3 payments on my credit card is done I will close every damn account with this nightmare and run far far away. P.S. Google if you could actually put this at zero or negative stars it would really reflect my rating of them.
