  Josh and his team were great for home financing - highly recommend. Talked to a few lenders and gateway mortgage was the one to always pick up the phone call and spend time walking through everything. Made the home buying process quick and easy.

  This company is horrible! Lost paperwork and information that I sent them while trying to buy a house and would not communicate with each other at all. Their underwriting department is the WORST and Carla that works in underwriting obviously has no idea how to do her job correctly. Sandy was completely disorganized and was really bad at communicating with me and the realtor. It was a horrible experience and I’m almost glad that they screwed things up so badly that we didn’t close on the house because I wouldn’t want to be stuck with these people for the duration of my mortgage.

  The irony with which the OK governor uses Gateway to show how good at business he is. Just a heads up to anyone looking for a loan--this company was voted one of the 15 SHADIEST lenders!!

  Fast and Easy refinance with Tulsa Mortgage Lender We decided to take advantage of low interest rates and could not be happier that we chose Gateway Mortgage. We have always been with another lender in town and found this online application much simpler and quicker. We also opened a savings account as the rates were great!

  They ran my credit 5 times for 3 different loans Processing took over two months. Finally got turned down for the last loan due to "not being employed at my current position for 12 months" I was trying to get a VA loan and separated from active duty less than 4 months ago. Even though my current job coincided with my military job they wouldn't have it. Lack of communication, there were days we called 7-8 times between me my wife and the realtor with no answer or callback. Tina Johnson sucks at her job and I'm surprised she still has one. My credit is too bad after the 5 hard inquiries, I will not be able to buy a house for the next few years more than likely. Thanks for screwing my family over gateway

  I highly recommend Gateway Mortgage and Ron Lopez for any home financing, whether you are purchasing a home or refinancing your home. Ron and his team are helpful with knowledge and very responsive to emails and phone calls through the process. They care about you and it shows.

  Worst experience ever. The lack of communication and the trouble actually contacting the lender or their team is ridiculous. They seem like they have no experience or just don't care about the people using them. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Plus getting an email after I complained about lack of communication saying they hope I am happy with the amount of communication is appalling and petty. The lenders I had were Tascha Rinehart and Sheena Tull. Save yourself time and find a different group.

  Biggest regret was listening to my real estate agent and using Gateway. Not only did my payments ALWAYS go up because they could never calculate my tax increases correctly, they would never allow you to fully pay the shortage amount to keep your payment lower. I sold my house last month and moved an hour and a half away. I had forgotten I was being mailed an escrow reimbursement check until today (17 days after it was mailed out) and made a call to the customer service line to see if it had actually been sent out. I was told it was my responsibility to update my address and that they had sent the check to my old mailing address. First of all I was not the one who sent in the payoff check, the title company did. Secondly ALL of our updated information would have been on the paperwork which included an address to mail the check to. When I asked the girl if it seemed odd to mail a check to an address that a person clearly doesn’t live at anymore I was told it was not her problem and it’s how they conduct business. I will NEVER recommend Gateway to anyone after my terrible 6 years paying my mortgage to them. I hope that you learn how to talk to people and even if I was in the wrong don’t treat me like I’m an idiot. Just fix the problem and move on.

  At Gateway it's obvious they truly value their clients. They made it possible for me and my wife to buy our first house, and their excellent customer service gave us comfort during an otherwise stressful time. Highly recommend!

  The whole homebuyer experience with Gateway was beyond amazing. Sandy was the most helpful person for a first time buyer. She & her team went out of their way to stay on pace & to explain every step along the way. Great communication from the entire team. Highly recommend!
