  Monty McNabb, with Gateway Mortgage, was an absolute godsend! He, unlike several other mortgage companies in town, actually worked through the process with us and explained where we were coming up short and how to fix that. He worked many different options with us to get us the best deal possible and I cannot express how much we appreciate that. He was kind, helpful and really hard working throughout it all. I'm so happy we found Monty and am so grateful for all of his, and his teams, effort. 10/10 would reccomend and if we ever buy another house, Monty is the first person we'll go to.

  My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Clay Schwahn at Gateway during the purchase of our home in the Black Hills. Having purchased a few homes over the years with other lenders, we expected a long and stressful experience. From the first phone conversation I had with Clay, I had a feeling our perception would change and did it ever! Gateway is a well oiled machine who delivers on their word. I cannot speak highly enough of Clay. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, efficient, and made us feel we were in safe hands. From day one the process moved quickly, no surprises, and we were at the closing table on our VA loan with Clay in record time. It is apparent that choosing a good mortgage originator and good bank will make all of the difference in the home buying experience! Gateway has gone above and beyond to deliver!   Monty McNabb has just switched over to Gateway Mortgage from another company not that long ago. We have had the pleasure of working with him at both companies and he his absolutely amazing! He truly cares about his clients, is easy to talk to and extremely patient throughout the process. We couldn't of asked for a better person to work with during this stressful times of buying a home. He makes any situation possible and the best choice for you and your family. If you are a first time home buyer or have been moving every two years this guy will exceed you expectations.

  Clay Schwahn helped us get our first home from all the way in South Carolina and he was so quick and competent that even our realtor here was blown away. Emails were replied to swiftly and it felt like he was the first lender who was genuinely on our side and protecting us during this process. Five stars hands down. We’ll use Clay next time.
