Molly WhiteWater1At this point even calling my bank is frustrating. Travel noticed aren't processed. Questions aren't answered. Zelle doesn't work. You will call and be transferring between 3 people somehow and then your account still won't work. It's not worth the hassle. Update:: appreciate the "response" but the fact is its still not working. My zelle doesn't work for anyone to send or receive money from me. I have been on the phone MULTIPLE times and yet? They said it probably won't work since they're both gate city bank accounts.

Sam B1I would trust my money with a stranger before I would trust this bank again. We have been with them for a little under three years, in that time we have had to completely close and reopen our account twice due to fraud and our online banking compromised. We have had to get new debit cards at least 10 times due to fraud. Every time we have an issue and we call to dispute it we get pushback and treated as though the charges are legitimate. So many transactions post and then several days later show up in pending again. I have paid so many fees to this bank just to avoid the headache of having to deal with them. I opened a new bank account and will be closing this one ASAP. I went as far as blocking my gate city debit cards and haven’t used it for over a week and today we have fraud again. Seriously buy a paper bag to hold your money, it’ll probably work better.

Redram Jay5I have been banking with them since 2017. I’ve used Wells Fargo, Chase, B Of A, and all the other large banks. Gate City is by far the most sincere helpful company I’ve trusted my money with. I’m living back in California now and always brag to everyone out here about them. They always go above and beyond to have my back.

Tyler Wells (TJ)5I love this bank. It is a runner up with my credit union. I have never had a problem with this bank. They explain every thing to you in a way you can understand. good rates on loans, Friendly staff even though high turn over. If I ever have a problem they are right their to help me or walk me through the problem. I would recommend this bank to anyone. I have kept them even though I am no longer in the sate.

Justin Savidge (crimsonfartable)5I like this bank because it was easy to set up an account and the staff was friendly. The staff was professional when setting it up with me. Easy to get appointment with them for banking needs in general. A great advantage to having a checking account at this bank is that it offers free atm refunds when you get charged at an atm. Which means you never have an atm charge money on your account. This is my favorite thing about this bank. Overall a great bank!

Lisa D5This bank is one of the best banks out there. Besides the fact that they have absolutely NO ATM fees ever, they are so nice and understanding anytime I have to call or go in. Most banks do not remember that their customers are "people", but Gate City in Williston still remembers that I am a real person, and treats me that way. Thanks guys!!!

Joseph Cecil1Wouldnt Recommend. Thought gate city was an awesome bank until I tried using their lending department for my first house. Apparently being debt free, great credit, proven track record, and even paying off vehicle loans early means nothing to this bank. Lending department gives you the run-around wasting your time and then comes back with a weird response, you're approved, but you have to wait for 60 days. You could at least shoot me straight instead some insulting answer like that. Lost the house I wanted due to Gate City. Wouldn't Recommend their services. Currently working on closing all my personal and business accounts with them. Not everything is black and white, and a manager should have evaluated the situation, or at least explained why they felt the need to insult me.
