      Freedom Mortgage will not give you the best deal around. The team is great but their leader Mary Beth is too busy and will drop the ball on you because she has so many clients. If you have an opportunity to work with Hector or any of her other team mates you should stick it out with them all the way through to signing because they are great, prompt, cordial, and knowledgeable. I especially liked how quickly they became responsive about the processing stage and setting expectations, again, Mary Beth was very knowledgeable but the customer service and overall presence was just not there.

      I am completely confident in recommending Mary Beth and her team at Freedom Mortgage. As a Realtor you deal with a variety of challenging transactions.       My experience with freedom mortgage was absolutely abysmal. Freedom called me to refinance, and we began the process on July 31. I was informed by Kyle Smith that it was going to be a 2-3 week process. Well, it ended up taking 11 weeks and 2 days, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. I have sent over 50 emails to various members of freedom mortgage, with the vast majority going unanswered. I have called in over 30 times, left messages, spoke with customer service, various supervisors, tweeted to the social media team, and reached out every way that I could possibly think of, and almost never heard back. Closing department goes straight to voicemail and never calls back. It took FIVE attempts to get the closing done, because freedom couldn't get the paperwork done and sent out in time. At no time did I receive a closing disclosure 3 days prior to my closing (as feedom's emails to me stated that I should and I believe federal law requires), and never once did it come as it was supposed to. Eventually Vashell Valentine was directly sending them to me, so at least I got to see the numbers. I have wasted at probably 25+ hours of my time with calling, emailing, tweeting, to no avail. My wife changed her schedule around 5 times to accommodate the closings that never happened. We paid a babysitter to watch our children so we could close, which never happened. I was working with Vanessa Cruz (a customer service supervisor) until she was unavailable to help me. The social media person that reached out to me never got back to me after our initial talk, despite multiple calls. Vashell's supervisor Ryan did not respond to any of my messages. It was so depressing to not get anywhere no matter what was tried. I lost out on money by paying the higher interest rate on my house for extra months, because the refinance took so long. Absolutely horrible experience from start to finish. Of the numerous people I spoke with, only Vanessa and Vashell seemed to care at all about helping me, and even with there help things kept falling through. I would like to be compensated for all of my wasted time and money, and freedom needs to improve its process. The notary and the lawyer that were supposed to be taking part in my various 5 closing attempts said my case wasn't even unusual and they had to cancel other appointments because freedom didn't get the paperwork out in time. How can you continue to do business so poorly?
