Seasons Federal Credit Union Reviews

KennyDots1DO NOT MAKE AN ACCOUNT! Over the past few years Seasons has slowly ruined or taken away anything and everything redeeming about their credit union. It's honestly run more like a bank now with the amount of hidden fees, charges, and stipulations they have. Save yourself the constant headaches and calls to support and find another financial institution that will treat you like an actual member.

Netta DiFonzo1This credit union has done nothing but go downhill for the 11 years that I have been a member. You can never reach anyone on the phone and when you do nine times out of 10 they are no help. When you walk into one of the few branches you can walk into there aren’t even real tellers readily available, you have to put up a fight to actually talk to a human instead of one of their ATM machines. I have been slowly taking my money out of this credit union and putting it into a more member friendly credit union in town. Once I have all of my payments switched over I will be leaving this credit union for good. The only good employee in this credit union is Victoria, everyone else couldn’t care less. Save yourself the hassle and use a more reputable credit union/bank.

Dominique5I was in the process of buying a new car and I assumed that I was going to be stuck financing through the dealership with an astronomical interest rate because of my credit score. I decided to reach out to Seasons just to see whether or not they could help me. I was beyond surprised and excited when Victoria told me she could. Originally I was only approved for a portion of the loan, but she worked adamantly to get me approved for the full amount. I'm now driving a beautiful new car with a low interest rate. She kept me informed through the whole process, explained everything so clearly, and even took it upon herself to review my credit report and refinance another one of my loans. I've never felt more advocated for and encouraged by a financial institution in my life. I will 100% be returning for future loans.
Response from the ownerThank you very much for the awesome words Dominique! Victoria is a rockstar at the Credit Union and we’re thrilled to be able to get you in your new wheels! 😁

Leslie Rivera1I am writing this review as I sit on the side of the road with my to very young kids stranded. While rushing to do daycare pickup today after a meeting ran long. I noticed I was out of gas. It initially started with a simple mistake. I put in the last 4 of my social instead of my pin, as I was distracted by the 6 month old and 2 year old. I immediately put the card back in and put the correct pin and the card was declined. I went into the station and put the card in and it was declined again. I checked my account and had more than enough. I decided to chance it and drive to the bank as it was a half mile away. The branch was closed, so I called card services. They shutdown my card because of the one failed attempt but told me I attempted multiple times and “couldn’t” reactivate my card. They kept telling me to go to the branch in the morning. I explained that I had no way of getting home tonight and had kids with me. They insisted there was nothing they could do. Any bank that is willing to leave a women and two kids stranded for the night is not a bank I want to have. I will be closing my accounts in the morning. I wish I could give them 0 stars.

Rachael Phillips1I'm honestly so disappointed in this bank. They're atm machines are constantly down and when I am unable to make a deposit into my account for this reason, I was charged multiple overdraft fees due to failures on their end. When I closed my account about a month ago, I was told I was good and that was it. I was given no other information so I assumed I was good and forgot about the account. However today I received a text saying the account was being charged and I had accrued about $50 worth of overcharge fees. How is it possible to have the account open when I specifically was told it was closed and nothing could go through? I'm so frustrated with this bank. They will penalize you for their own mistakes and are not truthful at all. They make things so much more difficult than it needs to be. Never have I had such trouble with a bank.

chris silviera1Please consider this a ZERO star review. A few years ago I opened 2 checking accounts a savings account and a secured credit card. A few weeks later I randomly and urgently needed to transfer money between checking accounts at 2 am only to find out their janky system doesn't allow it at that time on their website or mobile banking app. Online banking that isn't 24/7? Seriously? I kept trying at random times at night only to keep getting the same error messages. So I switched banks and went to close my accounts. I was told I needed to keep the checking account open to keep the credit card open. Fine. I left the minimal balance in the checking account and started enjoying the new bank I chose. I never logged back in to check my savings because it should only be acquiring interest right? Right? No. Yesterday I was searching for financial information and logged into the online banking only to find a -198$ balance. I went to the bank. Their system can only see a few months history of my account? Really? -5.50 a month for non activity. -5.50 a month for not using bill pay. Who the heck uses a savings account to pay bills? Of course I'm not active in it because it's for saving and I didn't want to bank with you anymore to begin with. 11$ a month for who knows how long. The employee can only credit me 145 and this bank expects me to pay the rest to get a positive balance then if I want to keep my business there also come up with a new minimum balance for the savings account? This is stealing! In this modern day of technology and connectivity they have a serious problem if they can't look back 2 years on my account. Libery, Chase and bank of America never had a problem looking into my history 7 years ago! I'll be closing my credit card and fighting to get reimbursed from these Crooks first thing Monday morning. Because. You know. The bank can't help me in this matter at 4:30 on a Friday. Lame.

Dawn Demo1Don't get your car loan from them, they are horrible. Still sending payment books, no app have to go online to website and its not user friendly and if your payment is due on the 1st and you pay on the 1st they won't process your payment for 2 business days. They can't process payments when you make them. Even with the update to website you are still about 20yrs behind.

L G1Don't bank here! They are very unprofessional and rude. I can't wait until my husband pays his car loan off, so that he can unbank with these crooks. There is a lady in the back office that has tried to make his life a living hell every since he took a car loan out with them. She even tries to use unlawful business practices. It is just a matter of time before she is replaced. I am currently working with a lawyer to sue her.

Erin Avery2Very upset with the introduction of "improvements" and virtual tellers and forcing us to use the ATM like teller. If I wanted to use an ATM, I would get an ATM card. I will be looking into other Credit Union that has human interaction with my banking needs, thank you very much.
