  I really hate it here. I never had a problem talking to someone over the phone. My biggest problem is that they open and close when ever they want. Its like every other day its some kind of holiday. There's other issues but I don't have the time or the energy to get into. Will be closing my account soon.

  We have been members of Franklin Trust for over 15 years now. They truly are working in the best interests of us, the account holders. All the services of a major bank are here, but we aren't made to feel like just a number. Plus, I am able to be approved for car loans even though my credit rating is currently terrible. Yay! Credit Unions ROCK!

  This is a reel credit union unlike the other the other credit unions who only hold the title (credit union) my credit is now finally going up , this is the is where i got my first car loan holiday loan and credit card loan . i was a member at a credit union called seasons for 4 years and they never helped me or assisted me with building my credit , basically i was on my own . franklin trust lives up to their name (Trust) they will give you a chance and trust your loyalty as you continue to make your payments through direct deposits and they also help you budget your funds . lots of help and solid advice. My first reel credit union.

  i’ve been trying to get in touch over the phone for 30 minutes now and i keep getting kicked out of the line. I was number one for the member services line. i can’t leave a voicemail because they never call back. they tellers don’t know what they’re doing either. i’m getting super fed up.

  Online banking is the worst with them. There is always a hassle to use your card when purchasing anything out of state. Telephone customer service whenever you do reach them on the phone is not always great. I stayed on hold for 45 mins until the bank closed and not one employee returned back to the on hold customer call. Horrible customer service!

  I've been a member for 4 or 5 years..The credit union has helped me tremendously..First I asked for a loan to refinance my car.. I had retired and car payment was very high...if credit union hadn't refinance my car I would have lost it...They refinanced it and payments were affordable...

  Great customer service and loan rates. Sometimes a minor problem, but usually easily rectified. My special thanks to Jessica Sposito...I've been in some pretty dire straits lately, and she has been invaluable in helping me find solutions and fighting for me in some pretty tight circumstances.

  Great services and friendly staff. The only problem is that they NEVER answer the phone. I moved out of state which makes this even more frustrating. I know they now opened a corporate office across the street which should help, but it has not. You guys are awesome, but you have to do better with the phones.

  Worst credit union in CT. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. You can’t reach anyone when you are in need. You are on pins and needles using their card to purchase anything cause it’s always being “shut down”. The straw that broke the camels back... Their system made a mistake and didn’t automatically take out a payment when it was due. A month later they took money out of my account without asking or even notifying me! They took double the payment! Screwed up my bills and created a hole I’m still trying to get out of. Stay away!

  I have been with FTCU since 1992 and they have always been there for me, but the climate there has changed now. My biggest concern is that they never answer the phone. I've moved out of state and was considering keeping them but it's very difficult to get things done when no one answers the phone. So I've changed my bank.
