Duane L. Hinkson1My ability to deposit checks via mobile was removed because of a modified check that I received. I do not work at a bank and I don't know the rules. I just signed and deposited. Because of this my ability to deposit via mobile was removed. When they told me this after I contacted them because I saw the money was not in my account they sent me a check copy, that I had to take to another bank to cash and then come back to Dutch Point to deposit. I didn't say I'm not using them for making me go through all that trouble but they took away my ability at ease of banking for something I didn't do. I used to be happy with Dutch Point. I left my bank, came to this credit union, have direct deposit, accounts for multiple family members, 3 current car notes, a paid off car note and was going to use them for some real estate. If this is how I'm treated, then good luck to anyone opening an account brand new. I know I'm not telling anyone else to use them for anything . Let me add this to be fair. They told me the ability was removed for now but to call back in a few months to see if they will put it back. Make it Make Sense someone. Nothing about me has changed, and that one check I received was a one time transaction but I have to call back and see if I can get access... smh.

Stefan Crespo1This bank advertises a certain rate for loans, our current credit union that we have used for 20 years can get us a check same day, but Dutch point was advertising a better rate so we called and told them we were purchasing a vehicle out of state and would need a check next day, which they told us wouldn’t be a problem. That was not true, my wife worked with them day in and day out on the phone, on email, and stopping by the office to try and jump through all the hoops that they kept throwing at us, after making it sound like we were set. We have A+ credit and the bank was asking us for items that were literally impossible for anyone to obtain on an out of state vehicle purchase. They didn’t seem as if they really knew what they were doing, lots of “I’m not sure” then delayed responses. It was to the point where I was on a flight down to get the vehicle and they still didn’t have a check for us. After all the frustration we finally called our credit union and they had a check ready for us an hour later. I don’t recommend this bank to anyone, the terrible processes that they aren’t really even familiar with themselves are not worth the hassle, and in the end the loan isn’t possible with what they were requesting, whether it was an out of state purchase or not. We will never use this bank going forward.

Josephine Gutierrez1Terrible service they try to reel you in with all these offers but clearly false. They charge you for everything under the sun. They are fee crazy . I guess they have to make there money so kind of way. There customer service people are not even kind. They do what they are told even the supervisor don’t have authority. I thought I made a good choice to switching banks but it has been a year of total disappointment. I will be moving my account to a bank that caters to there customers.

Amber5I love this Credit Union! they make banking easy and their rates are very competitive. Applying for a loan is easy and quick. Heather and Brenda have gone above and beyond for me. I highly recommend Dutch Point!

Glp Gagne1This so-called fcu installed a horrible disgusting act of predatory capitalism by charging $3.50 for an ATM withdrawal. As an fcu member of another provider, we usually can use an ATM from another fcu with no fee, which I've for years at Dutch Point.but I'll never use their services again. Shame on Dutch Point FCU.

Abbey Negron3Good bank but I hate that they don’t have 24/7 customer service lines. If you get locked out your account or debit card gets locked you have to wait till the next business day to solve your problem.

Exinobel Gonzalez3I've been a member of this credit union for sometime. Never really have had a problem as far as the account goes. Occasionally I get an attitude by a teller for not filling out a deposit ticket correctly. I currently have an installment loan and I ran into a financial necessity where I needed to refinance my loan and obtain an additional amount. I have never felt so uncomfortable applying for a loan in my life. My credit is pretty good, however a few days prior I had purchased a car a few months prior and the dealer had run my credit through a few banks and as a result had a few inquiries on it. The employee proceeded to circle every inquiry on my credit report with a red pen and talk to me in a condescending manner. It was almost like her priority was for me to not get the loan. In the end I ended up securing financing elsewhere. It really left me feeling with a bad taste in my mouth. The only reason I stay with the credit union is because I only get this treatment with this branch. However, I think that when I payoff my loan with them shortly I will be closing all me relationships with this organization.
