Very professional and pleasant. Every time my guy needed vetting, they've squeezed me in. A rarity nowadays. Highly recommend.

Best veterinary hospital in the area. They are so warm and csring, some of the best bedside manner to your animals and owners. Although not a 24 hour facility they still do emergency procedures. We recently had a scare unfortunately. And this has been our go to veterinary for general visits since our dogs birth. We cycled through a few veterinary hospital before we found Franklin lakes. Anyway, during this scare they were very caring to us and did an excellent job to our dog. You can even tell the talent of the doctors here just by the stitiched and size of insicion alone for what the procedure entailed. It was very cleanly done. Thankfully we got to take our dog home that day, but in the case if needed 24hr post operative care they were willing to do a transport to a local 24 hour center that they claimed to trust very well. So they are prepared for all situations. I have not come into contact with any doctor or nurse that was not gentle it- caring enough to our animals personal I will always recommend Franklin Lakes Animal hospital to all let owners for annual, sick and emergency care. Thank you.

I have been trusting Franklin Lakes animal hospital for over 10 years to care for my dog. He was diagnosed recently with bladder stones. He had this previously and I knew that I had to make a timely decision as to how to proceed (either surgery or putting him down). I chose surgery, but was told I would have to wait 11 to 15 days for an appointment because they were soooooo busy with Doggie Dental month and had no time to do the surgery. I can't even wrap my head around this! I called another local hospital and they were accommodating and the Dr. worked late to do the surgery. The other thing I noticed is that the staff was friendly, warm and compassionate.....not something I've been feeling at your place! My dog was also much calmer and different with the technicians and the Doctor. Sorry, when dental month trumps a sick dog, something is wrong!!

Absolutely love the employees and the environment. They really seem like they care about the animals and I love it. I've personally gone there twice to hand over wild life and they've always treated me and the animal with respect whether it be a stinky skunk or an injured pigeon.

I took my cat here for the first time recently and was very impressed with my overall experience. The waiting area is large and soothing with nice candles burning, a big flatscreen TV and two cute kittens up for adoption. The receptionist and vet tech were great and Dr. Greenhut was absolutely amazing with my stressed out cat. She handled him in such a calm manner that he started to actually relax when normally he is in a constant state of panic anytime he is out of the house. I was concerned for my cat's health after a scary diagnosis from a different vet and Dr. Greenhut was great; she correctly diagnosed my cat and did not push for any super expensive treatments like some other vets would do. Not only that, she e-mailed me that very night with test results so that I would not have to wait until the next day and be worried all night. I will definitely recommend Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital and especially Dr. Greenhut to friends and family.

I woke up on a Saturday morning and my dog of 13 years couldn't walk. I thought it was over and in a really bad spot. The FLAH was really busy, but I explained myself and they let me bring him in early. Staff was very professional and the doctor was great. Ran a series of tests in order to diagnose. It turned out my dog was simply dehydrated. They gave him fluids, medicine and sent me home. He lived to see another day. Thanks again!

Our 14 year old Labrador became very ill. Our regular vet was closing early and could not see her. Fearing that waiting until morning could prove fatal we called Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital. We were able to take her over and met some of the most caring professional staff we have ever worked with. Dr. Stoltze examined our beloved dog, took xrays which she explained thoroughly and blood work. Our girl had pneumonia and was dehydrated. She was given fluids, meds and a course of action to help her survive. Dr. Stoltze is professional, knowledgeable and kind. She gave us the correct treatment and the confidence to help her mend. We still have a long road ahead of us but at least we know without a doubt we are going in the right direction.

I'm amazed. Dr. Pomerantz called me tonight at 8:30 PM to check up on my cat and our family -- and we aren't even a patient/client of his! I inquired about nearby oncologists and he and his team warmly welcomed our records being emailed to them, and he actually reviewed them before he called to check in and tell me his thoughts. He expressed only genuine care, sensitivity over costs and what we're going through, and advised on the oncologist he recommends we go with based on our needs. And did I mention, this is not him trying to make a sale for his business at all! In fact, he recommended someone else that he would trust with his own cats, and wished us the best. This is after what was a very difficult, long, and emotional day of us calling oncologists trying to find one who actually showed care to help and begin chemo treatments for my cat. I'm sure many people reading this can relate to the heavy, emotional and financially stressful journey it is to care for our sick pets and trust their lives with people outside of our home. We never met Dr. Pomerantz before, but he is one genuine and kind doctor who is at the core, selfless and honest. I would happily give my hard-earned money to him and his team, and trust them to put their hearts into taking care of our animals as well as their skill. Hope this helps someone who may be struggling to find advice in the sea of vets/oncologists just hunting for a quick sale/commission and not taking the time to sensitively go through the steps with you. Thank you again, Dr. Pomerantz. We'll be sure to keep you in mind for the future when our other pets need a trusted, friendly, thorough, and caring doctor. -Angie & Family
