Lending specialist A said she'll call back never did. Lending specialist B tried to say my wife didn't make a payment for two months, which is a lie. Over talked her until I told him to stop and was thinking he was funny asking if he could speak. All because they screwed up, they are messing with people money and aren't double checking their work. So thankful we document. Because they lied over and over again.

They charge you for using your PIN number at places like Walmart. You can only use your debit card 5x, and then they’re going to charge you 1.00 every time. When you call in confusion— they’ll tell you that you signed a disclosure. ???

      Response from the owner

Hi Megan, thanks for reaching out about your issue. We're sorry about the confusion. When making a purchase with your Fort Financial-issued debit card, choose CREDIT instead of DEBIT. By selecting CREDIT, you will be able to take advantage of the zero liability fraud protection and consequently further protecting your PIN from being stolen. It can also help you avoid ATM fees and surcharges.

I have an auto loan with them. THERE terrible. What’s charged $800 for what that said was laps of insurance. Gave theM proof from my insurance there was no laps. Bank has done nothing. Customer service is terrible. Was told by a rep. I signed a paper allowing them to charge me the $800. I asked them FOR proof but they could not. This has been going on for 5 months. Save yourself the trouble don’t do business with these crooks.

I don't often leave reviews, but this feels important when a bank fails so badly. I recently wanted to finish paying off my auto loan early. I was given the run around by three individuals and poor service the entire way. One individual said she would email the form to help pay off my loan. Instead I received a screenshot of what I owe, and she neglected to inform me of the $600 that was in the account not being used. Then after calling back I spoke with another individual that could not explain why a processing fee was involved if I paid over the phone rather than in person during a pandemic. Finally today I learned that the individual who was told to close my account did so wrong and I was still charged a payment bringing the total to $1000 in failure by this bank. Tried to speak with the manger and she was busy so if that's how it isthen here we are. Please do yourself a favor and find a different bank that actually cares.DO NOT USE THEM.

Don’t let the cutesy “Credit Union” label fool you, this bank is run by ghouls. This place is unbelievably greedy and the people are incompetent… yet every “mistake” they make seems to always financial benefit THEM! You could probably get better loans with less fees and lower interest from the mob or any cash advance. STAY AWAY FROM FORT FINANCIAL!

**BANKER BEWARE** This bank has the most rude customer service. The bank tellers are clueless with lack of training or any information to provide. Did I mention rude! How about a story for best example! So on 9/14/16 my wife deposited a settlement check. We received a receipt indicates that $200 would be available next day and the rest would clear in 7 business days (standard I guess). The $200 never became available, no biggie, but along comes day seven. So on the 7th business day my wife and I enter our bank on Lima Rd. At Meijer. So they advise the funds are not available and rudely stated they don't know anything else, it will have to go to the manager, but not today (with a smile) it's past 5 o'clock. After several attempts the next day we were informed that the check will not clear until October 12th. Mind you, this is settlement check not a personal. This check has been issued to several people my wife knows. Niether of these people had an issue cashing they're check with different banks, no problem, and worry free. We don't owe money to anyone. If this was the case you think my wifes credit union could answer that. No information, they are clueless,  in which they leave the most important one, the customers clueless. We use banks to trust our money with them, not wonder if we will ever get to use it. The customer service level is not considered a notch above all. To end the public announcement, I recommend a  different bank. One that goes over and above to make sure your banking experience is perfect. They do exist, and thats why she will be switching to my credit union. Feel free to contact me for recommendations. With hope your banking experience isn't like ours.

Anyone who declares this Credit Union has rude service is either lying or exceptionally self-centered. I have never, in twenty plus years of membership, had an issue with anyone or any service provided.

I am sitting in their drive-thru as I write this. I am the ONLY one in drive-thru. Have been sitting here for at least 7 minutes now. Teller sees me... hit the call button twice... nothing. This is not the first time this has happened. Seriously thinking about changing my bank.
