      The staff is no problem, but the bank's policies are arcane and from last century. Depositing a two-party GOVERNMENT check should NOT be difficult nor impossible! Any bank that gives you a hassle about ACCEPTING money is in the wrong business.

      Courteous staff when I bank inside. I live near grand river and the ATM has NEVER ONCE been broken. Always works for me. More than likely, it’s “BROKE FOLKS” trying to get money from the atm, not a BROKE ATM.

      I reported a stolen card on March 9. 2019 to card services. On Monday the 11th I filed a report at the bank. I am still trying to get my money credited to my account. Flagstar has lied about the call and the in bank filing. I have requested copies of paperwork regarding these issues. There has been no reply. Now 8/4/2019 I recieved a letter that I must resolve the issues with the merchants in dispute myself. I never had a problem with disputed claims until I moved to Detroit. I believe Flagstar is redlining and discriminating.

      Easily the worst mortgage bank I have ever had, and would give them 0 stars of I could. Sadly my mortgage was sold to them, so I didn't have an option. My rates are 3.75 and 4.125 on the 2 mortgages that were sold to them, and I am honestly considering refi'ing with another back just because I HATE this bank that much! They move at a snails pace, they are out of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines and I hope they get investigated. I am on day 40 of trying to drop my PMI, and I even sent in my $800 check for the appraisal the first day they allowed me to request the drop PMI. That's right... I sent a check in the mail because this company is so out of date they don't accept Credit Cards and deal everything through standard mail. This doesn't even take into account the 3 months it took to have a simple name change and add a 3rd party user on the accounts. THE WORST!

      The atm is always broken and there are no other atms in Detroit.
