  Buying a home is an exciting but a stressful, confusing process. I was shopping for the best rates for weeks, talked to different mortgage bankers and quite a few took ages to respond to my inquiries. I am so glad our realtor referred us to First Bank for our mortgage needs. We were very fortunate to have worked with Daniel Mooney. We were so impressed by how well he walked us through the process. He was very responsive to all our concerns and made sure we get all the information we need in a timely manner. It felt like we were being taken care of by family. He was hands down the most knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He kept communication going during the entire process and helped me choose the best option for me.   The Manager who is over Oakland & other branches, when I asked about mortgage loans directed me to a Loan Officer., who met with us in Oakland.. There are bumps along the way with a mortgage loan, but the interest is good. We haven't closed yet, but will very soon.

  Decided to leave the bank we have 30 years of relationship with and moved to FirstBank. They have been a pleasure to work with; should have changed banks 10 years ago. We just sold and bought a house and the process was great.

  working with Shelia at FirstBank Mortgage was incredible! She walked us through every step and answered any question we had!
