  I would rate zero stars. My husband bought a house and was approved by them. Well 1.5 yrs later we come to find out they made a grave error for our taxes and escrow. Our mtg went from 680. To 1293.00 they sold our mtg to citizens. Now they are asking for over 5 grand and then the mtg will be almost 900 each month. This was reckless of them of first priority and our lawyer. I would not use first priority ever... we have called and never get an answer.

  I would discourage prospective buyers from using this company because they take way too long for simple home mortgages. If you use them, you are risking the seller not extending the contract. We have a no contingency contract with a buyer that was straight forward. We have one week remaining before our contractual deadline is upon us and they still have yet to supply my attorney with a clear to close letter. The hold up is supposedly over "a couple simple documents," and that was a week ago. I would rather lose this deal then extend the deadline with this company, unfortunate to the buyer since it isn't their fault.

  I cannot honestly recommend this company to anyone. I am a first time home buyer and have been very clear from the start that I need everything involving the mortgage explained to me because I have never been through the home buying process before. The communication with this company is terrible. I have dealt with 2 different representatives, both of whom are nice enough people. But, when asking either of them a question about the mortgage or closing process they have answered with a simple " I don't know" or have referred me to the other representative who then gives me the same response and we continue in this loop. They have now delayed by closing date on 2 separate occasions within 2 days of my scheduled closing without any notice. Keep in mind that I have submitted all of the necessary paperwork and documents to them on the same day that they have been requested, but yet they are too backlogged to keep up their end of the commitment. Last but not least the closing costs associated with this lender are much higher than were expected to be.

  As a Realtor, I always have a sense of relief if the buyer is financing his or her loan with First Priority Mortgage. All of my clients have been incredibly pleased with their service, especially that of loan officer, Brian Haefner. First Priority is upfront: buyers will not be surprised by hidden fees at the closing table. The staff is diligent, organized and communicates with all parties.

  While I understand that the process of applying/underwriting/closing on a mortgage can be a lengthy and sometimes tedious, things are starting to feel to drawn out and foggy. There seems to be a lack of communication between the people I am dealing with as I can hear one thing from one person, then get a call from another saying that that was in fact incorrect. I have now dealt with three people, all at different times, and all have told me different things about where we are within the whole process. No one can really seem to tell me what paperwork I need to provide, and every time I am told we we all set and I have provided all the paperwork needed, I am contacted by one of three people saying I need a whole new set of paperwork. I’ve done my best to provide the needed paperwork within 24-48 hours each time I’ve been asked, yet once I submit the paperwork it feels like they just take their time going over everything, and get back to me when it’s convenient for them. This is just some of the frustration I’ve had dealing with 1st priority, at this point I’m considering putting a stop on the process and going through it with someone else.

  I normally don't comment on anything but I want to comment on this because this one truly deserves it 1st priority mortgage have truly made my dreams come true I've worked with Brian Joseph Haefner and Arian and they worked sufficiently and accurately they have answered all of my questions and I've gotten positive feedback from them I would truly recommend this company because they Made everything possible for me as a first time home buyer i truly appreciate the afford they have put in making my dream come true and I've closed within 40 to 45 days if I could give gazillion stars I would so I would recommend anyone and everyone to use this company I definitely will use it again so thank you Brian and arean for helping me every step of the way

  Absolute headache from start to finish. Unorganized and think your life revolves around them. Glad its over.
