Kathie Russell1I was extremely disappointed in the customer service I received from the assistant manager. I arrived at the branch to open a business account and it was clear she did not know what she was doing. She opened up two savings accounts and told me she did not know how to close one but would look at it later. We were interrupted two times. I mentioned I had to leave at a certain time and her response was it may take longer. I was already there for over an hour and it still was not open. Seriously! I called another branch and was told it takes about half an hour to open a business account. Since I had to go to the post office before it closed I told her I would be back in 15 minutes. When I came back my account was still not opened and I was told I would have to wait. Five minutes before they closed she called me and told me I would have to come back in to finish the process. I mentioned I was disgusted in the customer service and her response was there were other people that needed attention. Unbelievable! She called me on that next Monday and asked what I wanted to do and never apologized for Saturday’s experience. I told her I was shopping around at other banks. I had to go back to the branch this Saturday to pick up my paperwork and followed up to see that the two savings accounts were closed. They were not. I was waited on by a member service representative named Bobbie who was an absolute delight. She was conscientious and professional. If you need member assistance I highly recommend her. I have been a member for 57 years and the customer service I received trying to open a business account has made me decide to open it elsewhere.

Lizz Hoffman1I’ll start by saying the people employed by this bank are a mess. Long story short, they allowed someone to deposit a $1,200 check into my account, when I called to find out what was going on they transferred me 5 times, placed me on hold for 10 minutes at a time, and in the end tried to cover it up by saying they checked their ID when taking the check. So I said to confirm you are telling me my identity has been stolen (placed on hold again). They gave me no answers and said “it’s almost 5 so we can’t look into it” after telling someone that their identity has been stolen. So ultimately closed my account and was forced to go file a police report as they did nothing to solve the issue or answer questions. Worst experience of my life. Switched to KeyBank and have been so happy. No one stole my identity they just allowed activity on my account without checking ID.

Annika Nielsen1Went to get money out of my savings for a plane ticket i needed the next day. Wouldn’t give me the money from my account and blacked out my account balance on the receipt. I realize that it was because I have a “custodian account” but I’ve been going here for years and this is the first time i haven’t been able to take out of my savings and see my account balance. The bank clerk was rude and not understanding at all, and was grumpy. I am 18 so I’m not sure why I can’t take money out of an account that I put money in that I’ve worked for. Will be switching banks soon.

Anthony1To whom this may concern, I've never felt such animosity in one place. I walked in with a family friend to try and inquire about getting a personal loan. I was directed into somebody's office ( I can't remember his name). He was a heavy set guy who looked as if I disrupted him as he was eating in his office. Sir, you are the one who waved me in. Anyways, long story short he swept me out the door because he said there was no way I could do what I wanted to do. I walked into the sunmark branch right down the road where I was instantly greeted with enthusiasm and kindness. I found out I actually have a score of about 730 and my co signer had a score of 840+. Needless to say, we obtained the 25k loan we were looking for from Sunmark and couldn't be happier!! Thanks for nothing sir.
