  We had a wonderful experience with First Nations! James Taylor was so incredibly helpful explaining every step of the process, and he went above and beyond to ensure we got the best rate we could. He spent days running numbers for us to make sure we were getting the best scores and rates possible. We have worked with other lenders in the past, but our experience doesn’t even compare. We will definitely use Jim in the future for any mortgage needs. Thank you again for everything!

  Extremely knowledgeable and always professional, Jim was a much needed and important asset in going through the long and complicated process of getting a mortgage. Always patient, courteous, and willing to take the time to explain all the things I needed to know in the level of detail I needed, he returned calls and emails promptly and spent all the time I needed making sure I understood each step along the way. Highly intelligent, but able to explain concepts in terms I could understand, Jim walked me through every step carefully. I felt very confident about his guidance and suggestions and got a rate I appreciate very much.

  James with First Nations Home Mortgage was absolutely fantastic to work with! From the start he was friendly, responsive, and always took the time to explain anything I didn't quite understand. As a first time homebuyer, everything about the process seemed daunting, but James was always great at explaining what to expect and made everything a lot simpler. He went above and beyond to help quickly and easily repair my credit in order to make me eligible for the lowest rates and the best possible loan package. James is extremely knowledgeable, meticulous, and expedient. He was always quick to respond and answered every question or concern that I had throughout the entire process.   Hunting for mortgages is extremely daunting, but I'm so glad I found Jim! I found First Nations Home Mortgage on my employee portal, so I figure why not give Jim a call?* From the first phone call, Jim put all my worries at ease. He was extremely detailed and knowledgable about all aspects of the mortgage process. He shopped around for my best options and was very fast and efficient. He was always available to answer my questions, send me updates and meet for paperwork. Even after my closing, Jim has been available to answer any questions I have. Everyone warned me that buying a house (especially my first one) would be super stressful and overwhelming, but I can honestly say it was one of the best and easiest experiences I've had, thanks to Jim! He is amazingly helpful and I love my new house! *I work for a company owned by Michelin, and I received some discounts for using First Nations Home Mortgage. Regardless of this, I would recommend Jim Taylor over anyone!

  I was a first time home buyer and Jim Taylor made the entire process so much easier for me! Not only did he do most of the foot work but he walked me through ways to get the best rates, better my credit score, and just all around made things as simple as possible for me!   This review is long overdue but Jim is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Jim helped us in our first home in 2015, constantly communicating with me, and he stayed with us at closing the entire time to make sure things went smoothly. Also, helped my parents in 2017 with a rental that even though didn’t work out for a mortgage he was helpful and shared his vast knowledge to make sure they made the best decision for them. You will be happy you chose Jim.
