  I e been with fnb for several yrs. I've been with them for so long and when I used to walk into the branch when I lived in Bastrop Texas all the ladies and the men that worked there were so so friendly and very very helpful I still am with them today and I would never leave thank you so much first national Bank of Bastrop

  Every time I questioned my account at this bank no one would help me. Misha at the downtown bank knew I had my debit card stolen. I asked for help to see why my money was missing from my account. She printed my checking accounts but kept acting like nothing was wrong. The dates she printed were all wrong. She then asked for my keys to my safe Deposit Box back and I had them to give to her. She said she mailed me different keys to my safe deposit. She then tried to act like I did get the new keys. I’m not a lair I knew I never got new keys to my safe deposit box. I then decide to close all my banking accounts and get what ever was left of my money out of this back. I then was in my car trying to review my statements and for no reason at all someone from First National Bank calls the cops on me when I’m in my car parked in front of the bank and the police officer said FIRST NATIONAL BANK called the cops on me just because I was in my car reading my statements. I did nothing wrong. I can’t believe I’ve been banking here since 1993 I’ll never bank with this bank again.

  I have banked with them for a really long time not a bad bank but I would say the staff here in Smithville should really check ID of people cashing a check because if someone stole my check I would be at a lost because they never ask me to identify myself to make sure it belongs to me
