      I was an extremely happy customer of Howard Bank. Sarah, Kim, and Sherrie are absolutely wonderful to work with. Unfortunately, First national bank just took over. Since then my FNB business cards have been hacked twice in one month. The first time the Howard Bank process went into affect to deal with it, and it went very smoothly and quickly. I had to replace the card and re-institute all of my automated payments. When I went on vacation my card got hacked again, which would point to a cyber security issue on the part of first national Bank. This happened last Thursday, and even with my branch putting as much pressure as they could, it still hasn’t been resolved. I have late fees through the nose that I’ll never get back, and was stranded out of town with no operating budget for my staff to work with. They don’t have a fraud department that you can call, or that picks up in obvious card fraud, or even a lost and stolen card number on the back of their card, and despite the fact that the staff at the local branch is absolutely amazing to work with and partner with from a business perspective, I would recommend not opening any accounts with any First National Bank. I’ll be closing my account and moving my business elsewhere.

      We recently switched our corporate accounts over to Howard Bank and it has been a wonderful experience. Just before the switch, we were banking with a large national bank. When COVDI19 hit we were unable to secure a PPP Loan with that bank. Howard Bank was able to secure our PPP Loan funding even though we were not technically a customer yet. They were invaluable in helping us navigate the crisis. They are extremely responsive and the customer service we have received is top notch.

      I don't know what crawled up the butts of the other two people on here, but i have serious doubts about their "honest" reviews. Some people have a bad day and happen to stop somewhere are then proceed to vent their anger about life on here. i don't get it. anywho, i really like this bank. i work at the tower and went in one day with a coworker while she made a deposit. they were very friendly and so nice, that i thought i would keep them in mind for possible future use. a couple of months later i did exactly that. i walked in and inquired at the teller area about a savings and checking account. she was doing some counting and was obviously busy, but she dropped what she was doing and very happily helped me out. now we all know that accounts like that makes like NO profit for the company, but i was still treated like a valued customer. when the next month rolled around and i wanted to know about secured credit cards, she again stopped what she was doing and was so extremely friendly and helpful and gave me the info i needed (and even some extra knowledge she didn't have to share, but that was very helpful). my continued wonderful experiences there prompted me about a month later to go to them to inquire about their MMA and CDs. AGAIN, so very helpful and she even remembered my name! some banks act like they know ur name, but only say it after you complete a transaction with them when they have seen your name on the account. now, i cant vouch for all of the employees as my interactions have mainly been with the same one. but the other times i have interacted with the staff, i had no bad experiences. So, when you go, look for Megan C. (she works like everyday) and be happy to expect a lovely young lady to cheerfully help you out to the best of her ability!

      Terrible bank for business banking!!! Small bank with no third party vendor pull (which they over rely on to compensate for their many internal shortcomings) and gouges customers at every turn for standard free services offered elsewhere. Avoid at all costs.

      Worst bank I ever went to they are rude and unhelpful I should have known better then to go back a second time only to piss me off again never again I am taking all my money out of the bank
