  Had an account here for probably over 15 years. They started sending me statements only every 6 months instead of monthly and then they started charging me a fee. So I didn’t know that I was losing money out of my account for 6 months. They clearly wanted me to close my account, so I did so. I asked the lady helping me 3 separate times about getting a refund of the fees they had taken out and she just never responded to my question. You use a place like this for the customer service. Based on my experience I would not recommend this place, there are far better options around and if you use a larger bank, you can get more benefits.

  The automated phone system said the bank was open on Friday until 6pm for the drive thru. Went to one location on Friday at 5:32 it was closed. Went to the other location at 5:38 it was closed too. The date is June 16,2018 it is not a holiday. Very frustrating wanted to cash my paycheck and should have been able to according to the phone message. Never going back.

For future reference, you have the ability to deposit checks via the Mobile Banking app. Once logged in, simply click on the "Check Deposit" icon in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, enter the amount of the check, take a photo of the front and back when prompted and click deposit.

  We have banked with First Interstate for about 30 years and have never had any problems. They have been helpful when we wanted to borrow money and we have never had any errors in our banking.

  This has been our bank for over 20 years. As we retire and prepare to move, I wish we could find a branch in southeastern North Dakota. We will miss this bank.

  Had a similar experience to the other local guide, got my account closed after a few months of inactivity and a 0 balance, even though I had signed up for online statements. The online statements we're supposed to stop it from closing, but that didn't happen.

  I will be changing banks due to this bank they are super rude don’t help I’ve called multiple times for help and questions on my account and have been hung up on i highly recommend finding another bank
