  Home buyer Here. This man Tony Charchafliah was one of the best experiences I've had dealing with a professional. Knowledgeable, kind, helps prepare you and settle anxieties. Has an excellent track record of getting people approved for homes. He succeeded where other Loan Officers failed. He even took some time out of his busy schedule to shoot some pool with me and take the stress off. My mortgage is even lower than I expected for my Rhode Island home!   Couldn’t give a commercial mortgage for a $675k property with 25% down payment to a company with 8 years tax returns making over $100k every year. Very sad to see them lose so much business. Take your commercial loans elsewhere.

  Wow, what an AWESOME bank. They helped me apply and receive two PPP loans, AND helped me apply for the loan forgiveness process BOTH times, even though the 2nd loan was the responsibility of a different financial entity. Mayra Ortega was amazing, so helpful and kind. She took the time to go through the 2nd loan process using the other financial entity's system, to make sure I got it done correctly, even though it was not their/her responsibility. Thank you all!!

  The staff is friendly, they offer cookies and dogs are welcome. Well, that was before the coronavirus. But they don't answer phone calls and their ATM seldom works. I have never been able to make a deposit that way. Once, I saw a card stuck there with a note from the owner who had to leave it there because he owned a business in the neighborhood. What if the guy tried to cancel it and the bank didn't answer? What if some crook could find a way to get the debit card out of the ATM?

  Mr. Davis assisted me and my wife with our first home purchase. He was recommend to us by our realtor. Dave was communicative and answered any questions we had throughout the whole process.   I moved from one of the larger National banks to First Home bank and I have several accounts with them. At first I wasn't sure if I should leave the comfort of the large banks with locations everywhere. Truth is, I rarely went into a branch and I did most of my banking online. I am in my early 30's and realized the community bank had a lot to offer and when I searched community banks, First Home bank had some of the best rates and account incentives in the Nation, not just the Tampa area. I'm from Tampa but ventured over to their convenient Central Ave location in St. Pete. Their staff was friendly and willing to help. I wasn't sure which products for my personal and business banking would best suit me. They were able to help find the best account for my long and short term strategies. I'm able to bank online and from my phone just like my other banks. I feel like my accounts are working harder for me and if I need to step in a branch they have several in the Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater area.

  Horrible bank to deal with. They handled the PPP program horribly. I was told I was approved and funding would happen next week only to find that they took way too many applications and never had secured funding. Upper management didn’t communicate with their employees and mislead over 15,000 applicants. I was lied to my John Cebula and have multiple emails, as do many many others, that they were ready for funding. They weren’t honest with when they took on and caused thousands of people to miss the funding that was needed to keep their businesses going.

  Don't recommend. The staff is very nice, but they don't take their customers seriously. They have switched banking apps multiple times and don't answer their phones most of the time. Covid made it almost impossible to bank with them. I think they're trying, but they have a long way to go.

  We opened our business accounts here after using two other banks and we couldn't be happier. Besides the fact that they are conveniently located in downtown St. Petersburg, the staff, management and commercial lending is TOP NOTCH! Go visit them - you will find more than a place to put money - you will find Kindness and Caring. :)

  These guys are great. They processed my SBA loan under the PPP program even though I don't have an account at their bank. forever grateful. If I lived in FLA, you would be my bank!!!
