Maria Corporal1On Tuesday, January 11 I check the account to find that there had been a hold placed on it. Contacted the bank I was disconnected several times finally able to speak to a representative name Ayesha who told me that a supervisor would return my call pertaining to this hold. It is now Wednesday 1245 I have made numerous calls to the bank and again I’ve been promised that a supervisor will call before 3:01 today.I still have no access to my bank account I would appreciate it if someone would contact me to resolve this issue! My husband and myself have been members of this bank for over 30 years prior to the name change! This is not how you treat a 30+ year customer!

Arnel Dennis1Where do I begin?? I have been a member of SJCU for years. Now that they have switched to First Harvest and things have changed. I had a problem with the ATM card is associated with my Savings account so I called the number provided on the website ( a 800 number) to see if I could get a new card sent to me. I was told by a customer representative that I could. However, I would be issued an debit card as First Harvest does not give strictly ATM cards anymore. That was fine with me, all I wanted was a card that I could use at the ATM to withdraw money whenever I choose to. I was also told by the same representative that my card would arrive in 7 business days. After 14 business days I tried to call to see if the change over (May 19-May 24 2022) had anything to do with the delay. I was on hold for 1.5 hours until the automated system hung up on me. I called back and waited an additional hour before being disconnected again. So, I spent 2.5 hours on the phone and I still don't know that status of my debit card. I never had this problem with the old SJCU.

sojersey2v1Terrible customer service. This bank is extremely disorganized and has terrible communication within itself. I’ve been banking with them for almost 10 years, multiple vehicle loans (there was a problem with every loan at some point). Now, again I have a new RV loan and due to an issue with DMV 100% out of my control, they have more than doubled my interest rate, taken money from my account without consent and treated me like a criminal. I’ll be refinancing my RV elsewhere. This is the last straw.

Khalid Muhammad1I was on hold for over an hour waiting for customer service. It's a disgrace they call this customer service. On top of all that they changed way to pay loans but don't explain why and how to correct issues. The worst by far..

Terri B1Received new debit card with new bank name. I Couldn’t activate it. Tried everything, called customer service and was told to use the number on the card which was only for reporting lost or stolen cards. Went personally into a branch on a Saturday and was told that the needed office wasn’t open on Saturdays. I was using same cell phone, same address so it wasn’t user error. Answered a survey from the bank and heard nothing. I called the branch today …again…While awaiting ANOTHER card, I am transferring all my automatic payments from this account and stopping my direct deposit. Find another bank or credit union unless you have nothing else to do but sit on the phone calling calling calling going through one automated system after another. Bank staff are nice but it’s still terrible overall service.

Anthony Marchetta1Definitely one of those banks who will continually assess bounce fees until you are so depressed you just give up. Nothing says enterprise like snowballing bounce fees. Zero compassion. Only thinks of ways to make money off poor people. No interest or concern whatsoever for it’s customers.

Joseph Fierro1Tried calling and actually talking to someone. Waited more than 1 and half hours. I called at 8:35 am they open at 8:00 am. I know business's have staffing issues. This is just ridiculous.

ankur1This is worst bank in USA credit union supposed to be better then big bank they’re more rip off then big bank . I tried to transferred my own money from this account to my different bank some how their was error I had money in the account. They still charged me ACH fee $70 after waiting on call for almost hour twice . Customer service girl very rude don’t wanna help at all blaming the other bank and not giving me my money back I don’t care about $70 but why charge if I had enough money ..

SRT-Grizz SRT-Grizz1I have been banking with the credit union for some years now and usually I don’t have an issue except the atm deposit slot not working here and there but it’s usually fixed fairly soon. So the other day I had sent a friend funds threw cash app and there account got hacked so I then went to the bank to Dispute the transaction and to deposit money to my account. Now the day prior to this day I had gotten a call from them saying that I needed to come to the bank and sign checks I deposit. I was asked to bring if so I did just that signed the check and went on about my day. So now I’m here the next day to dispute the Cash App charge and the teller at the front counter Tiesha proceeds to tell me that she can not accept my I.d because it is expired in an unfriendly matter and also goes back and forth with me. I came in the day before and spoke with other bank personnel and use this same I’d and didn’t have an issue. So I get she is trying to do her job and that’s fine but due to the times everyone know that motor vehicle is super backed up and you have to get appointment to handle your issue with motor vehicle. There isn’t even any available appointments for motor vehicle near me at the moment. Now I have other forms of I.d and ways of verifying my identity why not ask me for my bank card of ssi# or what’s to verify my identity instead of turn me away the same expired I’d the same bank accepted the day before
