Rosie Diana1Worst Bank I've ever dealt with. I have a friend who had stage 4 throat cancer and has No voice back or vocal chords. When he opened the account they Assured him that they would work with his disabilities. They lied. He has no ability to speak so he cannot call. They won't speak to anyone if they call on his behalf. They were supposed to add me as someone to speak on his behalf & Without my knowledge added me to his credit card as a authorized user I didn't have a card and then it was attached to my credit???!!! To date they have overcharged him do NOT respond to multiple emails From him so they literally are abusing and taking advantage of a guy who can't defend himself or speak for himself. If you are disabled incapable of speaking for yourself DO NOT USE THIS BANK. Their online system & app are horrible & your locked out more times in a year than I've ever encountered with any bank. He will be closing his accounts. Because abusing the disabled is a Sin
Response from the ownerIn response to the Google review referenced above, the claims made therein are inaccurate. Our member asked to add someone to their account, which we can do provided the individual in question follows the required legal procedures. The credit union has advised the member of the procedures that must be followed and we are working with the member to ensure that his wishes are met. The member was never overcharged for anything, and we simply asked the member to comply with legal requirements in order for us to grant his wishes concerning his individual account. Once again, we are working with the member to accomplish this and that should end any confusion. We reject the contentions set forth in this Google review. Please note that they were not made by the member in question.

nick gilliar1Have an auto loan since 2018. Nothing but issues, not worth the rate. They charge late fees for payments you made on time. They charge you a transaction fee with every payment if you don't hold a first financial bank account. Absolute horrible customer service. They won't provide an amortization of the loan, even worse, most or them don't know what amortization is. Avoid at all costs!

Jon L5My Mom has been a FFCU member for decades and I have been for a number of years. The Toms River Branch is committed to serving its members. I have made several transactions opening closing accounts etc and the staff has been patient and extra helpful throughout all of the transactions.

Alissa Ellen1We have been banking with them since 2018, paying off a car loan. As of last month, they’re suddenly “not receiving our payments on time,” when my actual bank is showing me proof of them receiving them and not depositing them. I pay 1-2 weeks in advance, but somehow they have issues with mail now. They had absolutely no issue receiving our payments last year during the most delayed mail time. Suddenly, “their mail is messed up,” and they’re not receiving payments on time. My bank said, verbatim, “they are more-than-likely not cashing the checks when they get them.” I paid two weeks ago and they still somehow didn’t receive it. I will not be accepting any late fee or automated message. The manager at this place emailed me saying she didn’t believe my proof of my my bank statement showing the tracking of the each check. February’s check cleared ON OUR DUE DATE, but she said “they didn’t get it until the 24th,” and sent us a late payment notice. I called my bank twice and they verified the tracking is correct. Why/how would they lie about this anyway?? I’m over this and I wish I could bring this loan elsewhere.

Lo Dunwald1For some reason the tellers are rude and don't like to give you your money here. If you need to talk to them don't walk in they will tell you you have to call for an appointment. No appointments available for 4 to 5 days. No matter when you call. Or when you come in. Even when the bank is empty inside and there are three people sitting at desks and one teller they will not help you at that time unless you call. When you go to withdraw your money They will not give it to you until you answer what you're doing with the money. Just a heads up people

Lois Ann De Rome1I have been trying for three days to reach a bank representative by phone because I cannot access my account on line. I sign in and a message says my information cannot be verified and that I should call the bank. How is it possible that I am unable to have access to my account? I have no idea as to whether or not there has been any activity on my account. I am totally disgusted. How is a bank allowed to keep customers from accessing their account? Aren't there laws regarding this?

Information was sent out over the course of several weeks about how to login for the first time after 3/15, as well as video tutorials. All important information is still available on our website system upgrade page at firstffcu.com. Trakeia Vaughn1I have never experienced such poor customer service at a bank in my life. My husband and I have been banking with FF for over a year. We’ve had issues in the past (not our doing). But with our last issue (again not our fault) they refused to correct their mistake which caused our account to close. We’ve tried calling, driving to different locations and every time it’s a different story on why they can’t fix the problem. I wish I could give them zero stars for the heartless and unprofessional people who work here. A true headache. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your research about this wicked company. They’re only out for themselves. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
