C Tedone5My business is a client of First Citrus, Carrollwood branch. First Citrus has brought the customer service back to banking. They are responsive and banking with them is easy and hassle-free, unlike with larger banks. With larger banks, I find that it can be hard to get a hold of someone who can help me. It's also tough to get things done because they have a long list of bureaucratic policies that they apply to every single customer, whether they make sense or not. Every time I call a big bank, I have to talk to a different representative and re-explain the issue and nobody I talk to has the authority to make decisions or go outside the bureaucracy to help me get things done. I have not experienced this with First Citrus. They make banking quick and easy and I feel that I have a professional relationship with two bankers who know me, know my business, and won't make me cut through massive amounts of red tape for no reason just because "it's the policy." My points of contact aren't just call center reps. They DO have the authority to help me cut through the red tape and they do a wonderful job of it.

Susan Brewer5I was with Bank of America for 20 years with a business account and switched to First Citrus a couple of years ago. I will never go back to the big banks. Chris the manager personally helped me secure two PPP loans, unlike BoA who never even submitted my applications because they were backlogged. They are quick to respond to emails and calls, and take great care of my account. I cannot say enough good things about them. They really focus on the small business customers.

Christus Papamichael1If you do actual business in Hillsborough county avoid this bank like the plague. They are waaaaay behind the curve they don't even have Zelle capabilities yet. My company has an LLC subsidiary in Tampa and we wanted to open a bank account locally so I called them. They had me sit in an appointment and fill out paperwork only to call me an hour after I had left to say I was flagged in the checking system for an account I had more than 6 years ago. Folks I handled that a very long time ago and have several checking accounts both personal and business with larger banks any of which would have not allowed me to open an account. Bottom line they lost a f business and we will be moving sizeable sums through out. The next year. Not a good bank for business... FOLLOW UP 6/23/21 - Had ZERO issues at Wells Fargo and they offered us a business line of credit. Apparently I do not owe BOA from 2006 crazy! Let me reiterate: avoid this Bank.

Paige Dennis5I cannot say enough about First Citrus Bank. Previously we ended up (after our local bank merged 3 times) with a national corporate bank for our business accounts. After much debate, we finally went through the pains of switching banks for our business accounts and only wish we had done it sooner. Derrick and Liz are phenomenal bankers and you will not be disappointed in the work they do for you. If it is a loan you are needing, Matthew is your guy. He will work to get you the best rate possible. Agnes is the best teller! She always greets you by name and with a smile. Susan is wonderful at helping with automation and Positive Pay. Laura and Lisa are super quick when I need transactions done quickly. I have had many interactions with various people at First Citrus Bank and never have been disappointed. Tiger Lee5Avast Me Hearties, If ye be looking to put yar plunder in a grand place, First Citrus be the best banking krewe in the 7 seas. In all my 40 year of dealing with banks, none of them have every come in visited my business. Since I have joined their brotherhood, they have come 4 times, given me two PPP loans, wired a ship loads of funds, n' refinanced my building. So I have keelhauled by two other banks, one a small local bank n' the other being a super large one, cause their service doesn't compare to this bank of limeys, arrrgh!

Ken Cooper5My wife and I had been to all the BIG banks...Yes over 10 years All of them. Other banks Nickel and dime charges out the wazoo, very little to NO big bank customer service. You call ...and call...and call. It would take days or weeks to get anything fixed or attended to. Nobody really cared about us or our needs. That all changed at First Citrus Bank. I have rarely had such attention to detail or customer service anywhere. At first we thought , wait this is too good to be true. But over 5 years later, it's still amazing. At first we just changed over our personal account, then after a great 2 years we changed over our business accounts also. They will even help you transition the switch over . I had quite a few monthly charges coming off my business cards and I didn't need any missed payments. It was flawless. Great Bank
