  Great store! Found awesone things at a great price... customer service was great, they had a variety of everything from heaters, coffee makers, microwave, jewelry, bikes, purses, shoes, fishing rods, a/c, electronics, alot of tools, even a cute tall popcorn maker sooo beautiful! We will definitely be back back.

  Bad service man I was calling and calling nonstop and they do not pick up and I needed a labtop ASAP!!! I guess they don't need money?? i uderstand they close at 7 but they don't take calls starting at 6?? I live right behind them,walking distance 2min, i wasnt gonna take long but oh well I got it at another pawnshop already...

  I have been Darlenes customer for 4 years. I have been going to her stores since i met her. She always makes sure her stores are clean and organized. I like coming in to look around and shop for stuff I don't even need. Someway they find a way to get me to never leave empty handed! I will always come back!

  The staff at the Edinburg 820 location has got to be the most helpful staff I have ever had help me. Darlene and her staff work well together to help out with what ever you may need. I drive from Austin to be able to be helped by them as well as visit family at the same time. You guys are great keep up the great work

  The first cash pon on 820 University store is a great place to pon, sale and purchase thing we need at a great price. I've sold them things we don't use anymore. It's a good way to clean house. I've bought stuff from then. They provide excellent customer service and impressed how knowledgeable they are on what they have on hand to offer. I love going there and have recommended them to my friends. It's a very clean and organized store. Iencourage ever

  I'm glad I'm no longer doing business with this location. This location used to be great. It's definitely gone down hill over the years. This last visit was the final nail in the coffin. The customer service is not good at all. What is good is their lies. I came in to buy a tablet they gave me a price and I talked to an Aaron I told him I'd be back for it. Upon my return I called to verify that it was going to be the price we talked about he said yes. I went over on my lunch break to get it and they wanted to charge me more. No integrity, good riddance.

  I am very distraught with this company. They have no empathy or concern for the community. I called to see if they could tell me if I had to go in today to pay extensions or by when. I did not have ticket number, but I told cashier, Annie, and manager, Natalia, I have my drivers license number and other information. I explained how I did NOT want any confidential information like item that was pawned, or amount it was pawned for, or even amount I needed to pay to extent item. I only needed to know by when I could go in. I explained how I needed to send someone, due to this pandemic and being around someone who had tested COVID positive. She flat out said no. I’m unsure if she is aware that customers can actually hear the attitude over the phone. When I asked for customer service number and store managers name to make a formal complaint, she was so egotistical and sarcasticly says, “always happy to help,” before hanging up. Now, I am left wondering how many people went into the store, AFTER they called ahead to let them know they are a risk going in. Wow! Just wow! Way to not care about your employees, customers, and community as a whole.

  Very helpful from the workers themselves, but the assist. manager would ignore her workers and seemed frustrated with them when helping them. When we heard her talk over the phone, it was a different story. She acted in a completely different manner saying how she is the assist. Manager and enjoys the hassle of being one, but in person completely different story. Assist. Manager would also be kinder to the men than women. She had been flirting with a customer before us but once it was our turn she completely did a 360. If I had the choice, I definitely would’ve gone some place else.

  Had originally given this store a 2 star about a year ago, but it gradually has been weeding out the bad apples. This is my go to store when I'm in Edinburg, so when I had that problem with the general manager last year it really bummed me out. New staff is great and have superb customer service, they try to help people out as much as they are able to. Keep in mind that it is a pawn shop and some stuff is used so just make sure you check your items and ask questions. Will continue to come here and buy items and pawn when needed.
